Commercial Description:
"Belgian White Ale" (North America) / "North American Craft Beer" (UK)
Brewed with oats for creaminess and spiced with the perfect combination of orange peel and coriander.
An unfiltered wheat ale spiced in the Belgian tradition for an uncommonly smooth taste.
Gold medalist (white beer) at 1995 World Beer Championships, silver medalist (white beer) at 1996 and 1997 World Beer Championships. 171 calories per 12-ounce serving and 5.4% abv.
Editor’s Note: Much of this beer’s production now comes from the Molson brewery in Toronto. A small portion of Denver draught production comes from the SandLot brewery. Still other product may continue to hail from Golden. 7/19/08.

Pours a very hazy golden. Aroma was strong of wheat and citrus, most noticably orange. The flavor is watered down, but better than most would expect from Coors. It finishes with a nice after taste. For what it is, this is not a bad choice.

For a Belgium white made my Coors I was suprised. I imagine that is why they bought the company because I definitely do enjoy the beer. I have had it on tap and in the bottle and would prefer the tap, but either way this is a great beer and one of the better Belgium wheats I have had. The wheat taste is good with nice hint of spice and fruit.

This is exactly what you would expect from Coors. It is weak. It has hardly any aroma, and the flavor is very weak. In fact, it tastes remarkably like regular Coors with spicy hints

Mild spice with a great creamy appearance. Not much afterthought. Decent beer all around

Not entirely impressive, this white beer has too much spice for me. Rides the unbalanced line with a bitterness I feel a white beer should not have.

NOT BAD FOR A COORS PRODUCT. AS FAR AS BELGIUM WHITE BEERS GO THIS ONE IS LITTLE BELOW AVERAGE. I WOULD MUCH RATHER HAVE A HOEGARDEN.

Blue Moon reminds me of the band Wilco. Everyone seems to love them and put them on this pedestal for doing something different and worth noting. They get credited for brilliant use of "sonic textures" and re-defining rock music. In actuality they’re a bland, uninteresting, mediocre at best group that people are "fans" of for the social status that goes along with it. Wilco is band for the hipsters - and those hipsters drink Blue Moon.
