durhambeer (1188), Durham, USA Aug 30, 2008 Certainly one of the better macros out there. Cloudy golden orange; a bit less head than hoped for. This is a big ol’ spice bomb. Lots of citrus (lemon and orange) but in a somewhat thin way; loads of curacao and coriander. Nothing subtle about it, but definitely quite drinkable. drjay44 (761), Salida, Colorado, USA Aug 25, 2008 This was somewhat of a positive surprise. Thin head, cloudy light yellow, reasonable spice with cardamom, citrus flavors, a bit of similar spice in the mouth, but very watery and minimal finish. noncaloric (602), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Aug 24, 2008 Updated: Aug 25, 2008On tap, pint glass. Dull opaque gold with a finger’s worth of a quickly dissipating fluffy white head. Aroma of lemon. Citrus flavor initially also of lemon, then turning darker, towards orange. A banana sweetness becomes more evident in the finish. A hint of nutmeg gives a buzz to the tongue. Flavorful, but a musty staleness is a significant defect. blipp (1632), Newark, New Jersey, USA Aug 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours unclear yellow with a white head. Light lemony and wheaty aroma. Light body. Flavor has a bit of lemony zest and a hint of spice. Decent at best. kiefdog (1567), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 22, 2008 12oz bottle from Publix Supermarket. Pours a hazy light caramel color with a thick white head that settles rapidly to nothing. Little lacing. Aroma is wheaty with some notes of syrup, maybe molasses, some spice, and mild fruit notes. Flavor is fairly mild with some wheat notes, lemon-citrus, and some spice. Generally light body with a slightly lemony finish. Drinkable, but does not compare with the European beers of the same style. urnamesucks (92), New York City, New York, USA Aug 20, 2008 The best mass produced belgium wheat beer moneyt can buy in your regular supermarket/deli. oh6gdx (8802), Vasa, Finland Aug 20, 2008 Bottled@The Rake, London. Golden colour, lots of particles floating around, mediumsized white head. Aroma is spices, wheat, US hops and some mild notes of earh. Flavour is citrus fruits, herbal notes and quite a lot of grass and mild spices. markwise (1132), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA Aug 19, 2008 A respectable attempt at a wheat beer by the big guys, but in an underhanded way. It pours a slightly hazy gold color with an aroma of citrus, but upon tasting it reveals something different. The flavor gives a hint of citrus and spice, but also some corn and rice. If served with a piece off ruit, however, this taste is masked well. I will avoid it simply because it is a Coors beer, and Coors should take ownership of it and stamp their name on it.
