Dirty blond and tan pour that was somewhat unattractive. The head was almost two fingers tall and was gone quickly. Spots of lacing. The aroma was bad. Smelled like wheat and spice brewed in dirty dishwater. Tasted better.dry wheat and mild spice against some thin tart citrus. The mouthfeel was thin, lots of carbonation.

Poured into a goblet. Light in color even for the style, with a fizzy white head that recedes without leaving behind any lacing. Aroma is lemony and wheaty, with maybe a touch of spice. Pretty average. Tastes watered down, with the predictable citrus and grain. Seriously lacking the complexity that makes, say, St. Bernardus Witbier so great. Mouthfeel is highly carbonated and thin. High drinkability.

A dirty water/cloudy look to it but seemed to pour an okay head. Easy to detect the citrus, lemon flavor but it was pretty smooth. Pretty refreshing on a 90 degree day (which it was). They served it with an orange slice on the glass though. Why? It’s already got PLENTY of citrus taste to it! My buddy threw the orange in the drink and did regret that, glad I didn’t. I can certainly see this being a "chick beer" which is why I probably won’t have it too often.

Deep golden color......very hazy......almost completely opaque. Pillowy, white head that fades a little fast. Very faint citrus aroma. Spicy notes with hints of clove up front......smooth mouthfeel for a wheat, yet still has a noticeable crispness. Sweet, very citrusy back, with a slight tart finish.

This beer is good not anything spectacular. But can definitely throw plenty of these down in a night and still feel like a champ.

12 bottle: pours cloudy light brown with decent white head. aroma very bland and malty, flavor somewhat watered down no real taste to pick up on other than malty. not a very good beer its sad to see the belgian name used so carelessly.

Big name, big reputation but pretty blah overall. No real aroma to speak of. Decent wheat flavor.

On tap at the local unnoteworthy bar. Pours orange with a small white head. Served with an orange slice, which made it hard to pick out the aroma, but I assume it was nothing special. Not many specific tastes to pick out--some spices, a hint of wheat. Easy to drink I suppose. Not really a good example of a witbier, but better than the pale lagers it’s served alongside of.
