asedzie (453), San Francisco, California, USA Feb 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy golden with some suspended particles and dense, moderate white head. Aroma of grainy wheat and light doughy yeast. Flavor is textured grains, some raw nearly-adjunct grain flavors distract a bit, mild orange peel, citrus, vanilla and very subtle bitterness. Creamy, lively mouthfeel with a moderately full consistency. SalemRam1 (15), Salem, New Jersey, USA Feb 2, 2008 Not a bad beer coming from Coors. I like the hint of orange. Goes great with an orange slice, much like a Corona and lime. Refreshing and not to heavy. Good beer overall. guyinchicago (516), marengo, Illinois, USA Jan 31, 2008 not the best beer in the world but really not that bad if you compare it weak american force feed crap beer , first time i had was at pizza pub it came with an quartered wedge of orange was quit refreshing Speedle (262), Mid-Atlantic (Tour 2007-2008), Virginia, USA Jan 30, 2008 a guy in the elevator at my hotel gave me this...I haven’t had it in a long time and was never overly interested in having it again....brownish yellow lemonade color with a white head...slightly funky sour aroma...medium mouthfeel with noticeable carbonation...light sweet taste with a hint of malt liquer...overall refreshing GangGreen712 (44), Woodstock Valley, Connecticut, USA Jan 30, 2008 Updated: Feb 25, 2008Blue Moon is actually a good beer...very good in fact when you consider that it’s brewed by Coors. Citrus-y flavor with little bitterness. Great with dinner or on a hot day. This is the one I recommend to less experienced beer drinkers, and also a good choice for more mature ones as well. This is the one...the American macro that is actually a high quality brew! jmorris37 (9), Tennessee, USA does not count Jan 30, 2008 one of my favorite beers. thick orange/golden colored with a creamy white head. has a very distinct, sweet aftertaste. good with an orange slice and good beer to drink anytime bluemooner (230), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Jan 28, 2008 Pours a dense light golden, almost orange color, with slowly disappearing, thin, creamy, white head. A clean taste with a hint of orange/citrus flavor to it. A sweet, easy beer to drink and available many places. Wegro (218), Fresno, California, USA Jan 27, 2008 I was expecting some nasty off flavors and really thin body, but what i got wasn’t that bad at all. Really ugly, but the flavor had some spice and citrus in there and a pleasant sweetness. Nothing exciting but I would definitely take it over amber bock, negra modelo, newcastle, and its other macro peers.
