A blend of cinnamon and nutmeg combines with roasted caramel malts and fresh apple juice for a warming, spiced taste.

Tastes nothing at all like caramel, apple, cinnamon, or nutmeg. Just a sour apple juice with minimal sweetness. Not good at all. Hard to down. Like a bad cider.

Ok, so I was excited to try this, as I like limited flavors. Especially with a decent beer like Blue Moon. But, this one GREATLY disappointed me. This does not have any caramel flavor in it. Or apple. The fact that I saw people put that they taste tart apple make me think they were REALLY trying to find some redeeming quality in the beer. But this beer tastes mostly like allspice, with a lot of nutmeg. Thats it. Itís not that great, and the fact that it says "Caramel Apple Spiced Ale" is a disgrace to labeling, and makes the beer much worse in my mind. This should just be labeled "Blue Moon - Nutmeg & (All)spice" and I would make this 1.9 rating maybe a 2.2. Still, not too enjoyable.

Bottle: Poured a copper amber with a light thin off white head. Aroma is caramel and apples. Taste is mix of caramel malts, apple fruit, and very dry finish.

"Iím comparing apples to apples here...this one is one of the better blue moonís, just like the apple shock toop is one of the best of that line. I think the ST is a little better, though. This is pleasant enough...apple and spices as advertised, just very simple, very thin, and a tad overcarbonated."

12 oz bottle from a sampler pack. Nose is hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, with some light Belgian yeast notes nad caramel malt. I really donít get any apple. Clear orange with a small yellow tinged head. Flavor is light sweet with the spices added.

Clear bright amber with fair off-white head. Aroma is spiced, light fruity. Flavor is a subdued version. Light watery body. Nice enough for a casual beer drinker.

Is it just because I had the cinnamon horchata first or does this smell the same. Love the apple aroma tho. More apple on the Aroma and sweet on the flavor that couldíve caramel but still. Idk. That Blue Moon finish isnít my favorite

Part of their mixed pack on my trip to Maine. Pours a clear copper-amber colour with an off-white head and some light foamy lace. Aromas of spiced apples with nutmeg and cinnamon. Same spices in the taste, but milder. Not much caramel. Good limited release that is worth trying if you like spiced ales.

Bottle: Clear copper with a tall, tight tan head. Pumpkin, cinnamon aroma....holiday spice. Sweet, brown sugar/caramel with a bit of tart apple......as it warms, a little pie crust. Not bad at all.

Thin amber color. Fizzy head that diminished quickly. Sour apple smell with hints ove spice. Thin apple flavor with hints of spice and some wheat aftertaste. Crisp carbonation and refreshing.
