In the bottle at the 2007 Crescent Moon Holiday Beer Tasting. Pours dark golden with a thin white head. This is a thin and watery beer that is fairly disappointing. It has a slight tongue tartness, but not much else here. It keeps good company with the other mediocre Blue Moon Line of products.

Clear amber with a large white head and a fair amount of lacing. Toasted malt aroma; some spices are intermingled. Sweet, caramel malt taste with a touch of honey. Medium-to-light bodied; decently carbonated. Mild, short lived finish. May be a stretch to call this an abbey dubbel

Bottle. LIght brown color, little bit of a malt on the nose. Decent enough flavor of matls, though not much to it. It says "Ale" but I’d swear this is a flavored lager. Not a great beer, but at least it’s real easy drinkin’.

Bottle at Dave & Buster’s (Pgh.). Pours a amber / copper color, off white head. Aroma is a touch of spice, carmel and malt. Flavor is spice, slight sugar and a touch of something I can’t quite describe, but it like the beer was "dead" or something. Aftertaste was like rust or metallic, not pleasant.

Aside from a hint of sweetness in the nose, the aroma was exactly that of Miller Lite. Honest. I had a brief, although completely idiotic, fear that MillerCoors were using more adjuncts to cut costs and that part of the Miller Lite recipe had been used to stretch this one out. The flavor was pretty nice though, very malty and sweet but not too sweet. Easy drinking but reminded me more of a spring bock than a winter ale or a dubbel. I miss last year’s Blue Moon winter seasonal.

A good winter brew, not as heavy as its relatives. Definitely can taste the regular Blue Moon in it, but this has a lot more of a sweetness to it. Extremely drinkable.

This is actually pretty good. It has the nice sweet undertone of Abbey;d with a lower alc. percentage rendering itit less heavy. It had a hint of regular Bluie Moon in it andl felt it was an overall good drink.
