jjuf1853 (175), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA May 4, 2008 Bottle pours a clear amber color with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with various spices thrown in the mix. Flavor is mostly sweet with some roasted malts and a dry, slightly bitter finish. Very carbonated mouthfeel.
Hophead22 (88), Redlands, California, USA Jun 29, 2008 In the bottle.Pours nice, looks nice. Very nice head, stays with the glass rather well. Not a fan of the smell, tin like. Too much malt in my opinion, not a fan. Otherwise ok. Headbanger (922), Aurora, Illinois, USA Jun 18, 2008 12oz bottle(courtesy of RSRIZZO)-An amber body with a nice big off white head. It emits an aroma of malt and sweetness. Taste of malt, belgian yeast, grass, and a little caramel. This light to medium bodied brew is not nearly as good when it was just called their Winter Ale. That had so much caramel and taste. Go back to the old recipe. phishpond417 (1162), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 17, 2008 This brew pours as nice copper body with a fairly large white head. A very pleasent floral and sweet caramel aroma. Roasted malts, oak and spice flavor. finishes with soft hops. I was very suprised how tastey this was. hop_lover (101), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA Jun 11, 2008 I realy like this one. It’s a great beer for the winter time. It warms me up, nice and toasty. Nice malty flavors and can taste the belgium sugar. Rciesla (712), Brick City, New Jersey, USA May 26, 2008 Bottle. one of the worst winter releases ever. Its wheaty, thin roasted malt flavor and belgian candi sugar. eh.
