This amber-colored flavored ale is brewed only in the autumn and combines the flavor of vine-ripened pumpkin pie flavor with traditional crystal malt.

Very clear amber color. aroma is barley existent. Flavor is of pumpkin, but the intial sip weak and so is the middle. Not the first pumpkin i would reach for.

Bottled, 0.355l. Clear orange golden color with small creamy, mostly diminishing off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of mild caramel malt, herbal hops, pumpkin, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Taste starts with light sweet malt, follows sour grainy and vegetably with sweet and spicy pumpkin flavor without any bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium to full body, syrupy texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Poured this pumpkin ale under full moon...

I like this one. Coors was the first brand I’d ever drank. This beer is brewed by one of their lines of business but is not watery. It has a medium body and pours with an interesting orange/brown color. The aroma follows the taste, giving off the smell of a freshly baked pumpkin pie, alcohol, malts, and spices (especially cinnamon). This one is a smooth drink, great for the holidays, and refreshing. The ABV is nothing to laugh at either.

Part of the Blue Moon "Seasonal Collection" now renamed "Harvest Pumpkin Ale", this pumpkin has a general pleasing taste and appearance as pumpkin ales go. Nothing here too negative, yet nothing too extraordinary either. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Maierovicz’s place. Thanks beerandbeyond. 5.7%. Clear orange. Aroma of pumpkin, caramel and sweet spices. Sweet flavor of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Medium-bodied.

Appearance: Burnt red with dark orange edges under a fizzy khaki head which fades into a thin bubbly collar with no real head. A few swirls of the glass produces nothing else.
Nose: Pumpkin pie and spice – spice forward then canned pumpkin pie filling. Sweetness of prepackaged icing and powdered sugar on top. Hints of allspice and nutmeg in the front. Pie crust in the very back.
Palate: Mild up front with a creamy middle which does little to tease the tastebuds with flavors matching the aforementioned aromas. Faint pumpkin filling topped with faint icing sweetness and finishing dry with faint generic spice notes. Some graham crackers mingle with the pie crust underneath.
Final Thoughts: I wouldn’t even qualify this pumpkin beer as an average quaffer, especially when there are so many other better offerings. For whatever reason the Blue Moon line of beers seem content with their mediocre status, showing no desire to brew a truly artisanal flavorful craft beer. But considering Blue Moon is just an arm of MillerCoors, that isn’t very surprising. Keep shopping.

Aroma is pumpkin and nutmeg, tastes like pumpkin pie with some malty flavors at the end. Not getting much bitterness but the taste does linger a while. Not bad but not as strong a pumpkin flavor as other pumpkin beers I’ve tried.

Bottle. Smells like nutmeg, maybe a little cinnamon. Pours light amber with a little translucence. Taste follows the smell with a little pumpkin taste with the bitterness at the end. A little heavy on the spice but an enjoyable holiday brew with a good festive flavor.

I was surprised this one was rated so low. Probably that sense that it has to start out lower as a mass produced beer. I though it was actually good in the realm of pumpkin beers. Pours an amber color, very nice look. Aroma has a clear spice smell to it, nutmeg. Taste is sweeter than I prefer, but easy to drink. -
