This amber-colored flavored ale is brewed only in the autumn and combines the flavor of vine-ripened pumpkin pie flavor with traditional crystal malt.

From 12oz bottle to shaker. Pour is an amber/orange, with a thin off white head that disappeared quick. Nose is light pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, malt. Taste is mostly sweet, light bodied, hints of sour as well. Finishes very carbonated. Not a terrible pumpkin beer, but so generic. I don’t think anybody can beat Elysian in the pumpkin beer category, however some cam compete with them and this is not one.

As far as pumpkin beers go, this is at the top of my list. It may be a mass production beer but it drinks better than the craft beers for this flavor.

Bottle (of course). Pours a hazy amber. Spice on the nose. Nice pumpkin spice flavor. Good beer for the price.

Pours a clear lt amber/orange with a medium off white head. Aroma has some slightly doughy malts, caramel and a touch of pumpkin pie filling. Flavor is a bit bland but has light pumpkin pie filling and earthy/roasty notes. Mouthfeel is light/medium and the finish is lightly roasted and earthy/dry.

From bottle. Aroma of nutmeg and cinnamon. Taste is same with a bit of pumpkin. Mouthful is decent not watery like some. Score is low from all the pumpkins I have tried, 20+. Overall good pumpkin beer.

Bottle. Pours a bright and clear dark orange body with a one finger off-white head that slowly faded. The nose is pretty heavy on the spicing, cinnamon and nutmeg especially, but a little bit of a ginger note in here as well. The malt base is sweet caramel with some toasted malt notes. The flavor is heaviest on the cinnamon, but the caramel and toasty maltiness is rather heavy as well. Minimal actual pumpkin flavor. Long lingering caramel sweetness on the finish. Medium bodied, a little clingy, moderate fizzy carbonation. A little better than some Pumpkin Ales, but a little too spice-centric for my tastes.
