2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Clear, light orange pour with a small, short lived, head. Heavy aroma of nutmeg and pumpkin. Vegetable flavor with a mess of spices that leaves a bitter aftertaste. Lively carbonated with a thin texture. Some sweet malts or spices would have helped balance this one out.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle - good size foamy head, nice dark copper color, pumpkin spice aroma and flavor - a little too much for me, not much balance

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Harvest Moon Pumpkin Ale is amber colored pumpkin ale. The taste of pumpkin pie spice is up front with a smooth slightly dry finish. The lack of a nice creamy head detracts from the overall appearance.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Appearance: Orange with some visible carbonation and a tiny off white head. Aroma: synthetic pumpkin spice, like what you’d get in pumpkin scented candle. Flavour: again synthetic flavour, something harsh and plastic in the background, quite a bitter and distasteful finish.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
The spice is quite strong, and it doesn’t really work that well. I also didn’t get much of a pumpkin flavour, but perhaps that’s just my simple taste buds.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
From a sampler on a Biz Trip to Auburn Hills, 355ml bottle, 5.7% a/v
Pours a light copper color with a thin off white head. Aroma is predominately pumpkin spice, with a bit of caramel as well. Taste is smooth, and slightly spicy with some roasted pumpkin sweetness. Hoppy on the palate a bit, just enough to balance it. A smooth aftertaste iwth a lingering spiciness. A good blend, could use a bit more spice but a nice offering.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from sampler pack. Aroma is all on the baking spices, as is the flavor. Much like the caramel apple ale, really. Just the barest hint of pumpkin shows up. Too weak to support the spices.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas are decent with some nice notes of spice, cloves, cinnamon, sweet apples. Not noticeable pumpkin on either the nose or the flavor. Sweet up front with a bitter/dry finish. Very light-bodied with active carbonation and a brief finish.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sampled at happy Harry’s beer and bacon festival. A sub standard pumpkin beer from a pretty bad ’craft’ brewery.
