3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 FudgeSociety2 (311) - Florida, USA - OCT 3, 2012I don’t understand the low score. Sure, it’s not a world beater, but it’s a nice enough pumpkin beer.

Bottle pour. Pumpkin is barely there, very subdued. Malts are OK, but the finish on this isn’t that good.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 chinchin (15) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Pours clear amber with a short lived off white head that leaves an oily looking film. Aroma of clove spice with a hint of pumpkin. The flavor is sweet with notes of nutmeg, allspice, and biscuits. The pumpkin flavor is unfortunately very mild, and is dominated by the clove sweetness and allspice flavor. The carbonation is nearly absent, giving this ale a flat body. The sweetness of this ale becomes overwhelming after a while, which produce a sticky syrupy sweet finish. Overall, I?m not a fan of this seasonal offering from Blue Moon.

October 2010. From bottle. This is actually a pretty good pumpkin ale but not quite up there with the heavy hitters. I would think this one again.

Overbearing; they're trying too hard. A bit too sweet. A bit too spicy. Good malt backbone nonetheless.

I have tried a lot of pumpkin ales sesrching for a decent one. This is by far the best one I have come across. Taste is nice but not too strong. Can be difficult to find.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Lemke10 (544) - Janesville, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 23, 2013
I loved the taste of Blue Moon and was hoping this beer would deliver as well. This pumpkin ale is quite difficult to describe. There really isn’t much of a smell to the beer but it does have quite a heavy taste. It does leave quite an after taste though which I didn’t really care for with this beer. You really have to search for that pumpkin taste which is very faint.

Appearance is thin, transparent brown. Light bodied. Lots of spice in the aroma as well as flavor.
