Bottle into an ale glass. Pour is a nice dark Amber with a thick head that turns to lace. Aroma is pure fall harvest. Taste is all about pumpkin. Finish is a nice bitter sweet.

Look: pours a copper color with a bright white head. Very clear. Smell: malt heavy. Slight pumpkin. Caramel. Taste: slight pumpkin. Malt heavy. Nice sweetness. Feel: thin mouth feel with medium carbonation. Overall: good beer like that it's not over the top with pumpkin. First drank: home 10/22/14

Taste falls short. Aroma is not bad, however. Palate is pretty mouth filling in a bad way.

"better body and beer than the shipyard, but alas, the spices are way underdone, to the point of asking "why bother"? not a good beer, with or without the spice. drinkable, but barely."

Pours a medium-amber brew from a 12 oz. bottle with a brisk, quickly receding head. Strong nutmeg and pumpkin aroma. The body is a bit light. Flavor is again spice and pumpkin, a bit sweet, and a bit bitter. The finish is very brief with the bitterness holding on longer than the other components. Not really familiar with the style, but overall a drinkable beer with a crispness to it. Good for the season.

Just too sweet and artificial for me. Murky orange. Big cinnamon and nutmeg in aroma. Taste is overwhelming sweet and vegetal. Pass it up.

Aroma: cinnamon, nutmeg. Appearance: clear amber, small white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: after initial bitters spiced sweets. Overall: nice aroma but boring palate. Pint at Big Brew, Morristown.

355ml twist off bottle. Amber pour. Smell is pumpkin pie and toasted grain. Flavor is toasty with a pumpkin pie flavor, bit of sweetness, has an off bittersweetness but otherwise unoffensive.

Draft at Mellow Mushroom...a good combination of flavored beer without the "flavor" overpowering the beer

Bottle. Copper-amber color with small foamy white head that dissipates immediately, light pumpkin aroma, cinnamon flavored pumpkin taste, medium carbonation, thin body, abrupt finish. Good attempt at at a pumpkin ale.

Transfer from BA review on 10-9-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a clear orange-amber color with a nice two finger white head with just a light tint of orange. The head has a great level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a decent level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is dominated by a pumpkin spice smell of nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. Other lighter aromas of a roasted pumpkin and some brown sugar are there as well, giving it a very spiced pumpkin pie like smell. Taste – The taste begins with a bready and pumpkin puree like taste. Upfront there is sweetness of a caramel flavor, which transitions to a more brown sugar taste as the taste moves to the end. Along with the transitioning of the sweet so too comes the spice flavors that were detected in the nose. The spice doesn’t get as potent as the nose would have let one to believe however, remaining more on the lighter side. Along with the spice there is also a light citrus taste that is present throughout much of the middle and the end of the taste. All in all, in the end one is left with a lighter spiced pumpkin flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average side in thickness with a carbonation level that is on the slightly lower side. A slightly thicker body may have been a bit better for accentuating the pumpkin flavors of the brew, but the lower carbonation did just that so overall the feel was pretty good. Overall – A decent and rather easy drinking pumpkin ale that is very accessible and rather affordable.
