Poured from the bottle. Aroma is very mild, but the pumpkin is clearly there along with some cinnamon and clove. Slightly sweet and a bit watery as expected. Pretty ok beer.

Generally malty with some caramel flavors. A big push of spice comes on and dominates things quickly. Not really a standout.

Surprisingly not good. Has a sort of Windex characteristic to it. Strange. ---Rated via BeerBuddy for iPhone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Buttle from Stearns Liquor Mart, Long Beach. Clear golden/orange beer with a small offwhite head. Malty pumpkin aroma, caramel, toffee, fruity, some spices. Malty pumpkin flavor, grapes, biscuits, hay, spices, some floral notes. Kinda boring.

Bottle from Albertsons. Kind of a dull pour, tiny head. Aroma is out of the bottle pumpkin pie spice, nothing imaginative or exciting. Actually kind of bland, with some generic pumpkin pie flavor. As expected....

Bottle from Yamaya. Huge, spicy, pumpkin pie nose, nutmeg, cinnamon, nice pumpkin too, caramel. Mostly spice. Looks decent, cloudy amber with a fine, low head. Sweet pumpkin pie and spice. Not ridiculously sweet, ok body, drinkable, even slightly enjoyable when compared to the 2 Suntory pumpkin beers.

Bottle from Seijo Ishi store. Light fruity candied pumpkin nose, cloves. Pretty orange/amber color, thick lacing. Light fruit, a short jump of spiciness, malt re-emerges, and a gentle bittering in finish. Thin body. Hmmm... actually, okay (for a style that I don’t really care for).

Bottle. Copper color. Aroma of sweet pumpkin, estery yeast, wheat and amber caramel. Flavor has lots yeast esters, chemical sweet pumpkin, iron and a bitter caramel finish. It’s allright.

Blue Moon's Harvest Pumpkin Ale 5.7% This is popping up at many major retailers. I got mine at Aeon Liquors but I spotted it for less at Liquor Mountain. It pours a reddish amber with a fast dissipating beige head of foam. It's got a nicely spiced nose of nutmeg, allspice & cloves. Medium bodied with a scratchy carbonation. A tad too gassy. The taste is sweet, nutty, vegetal pumpkin flesh and light spices. Overall, nice aroma & passable flavor means it is a decent option for those looking for a low-budget pumpkin ale in Japan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Translucent copper orange with minimal head. Pleasant autumn aroma containing notes of pumpkin, caramel, nutmeg, cloves, malt, and cinnamon. Thin and silky texture. Spices are lacking in the flavour save for nutmeg, but the pumpkin and malt are present. Very mild hop. I surprisingly enjoyed this.
