2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours clear amber with a short lived off white head that leaves an oily looking film. Aroma†of clove spice with a hint of pumpkin.†The flavor is sweet with notes of nutmeg, allspice, and biscuits. The pumpkin flavor is unfortunately very mild, and is dominated by the clove sweetness and allspice flavor. The carbonation is nearly absent, giving this ale a flat body. The sweetness of this ale becomes overwhelming after a while, which produce a sticky syrupy sweet finish.†Overall, I?m not a fan of this seasonal offering from Blue Moon.

Not a fan of the pumpkin flavor. It might be good if you like that sort of thing.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pumpkin spices. Heavy on the nutmeg. Not a huge pumpkin fan, but this is on par with some of the actual craft pumpkins. So I guess thatís a win for blue moon.

Bottle pour. Clear amber with a tan head. Malty, pumpkin, nutmeg, and cinnamon aroma. Light body. Pumpkin, spice, and cinnamon taste. Not the greatest.

Bottle. Amber. Pumpkin and cinnamon with high carb and a prickly mouthfeel. Not great, but not bad. Seasonal option at a kidís 4th bday party.

Taste falls short. Aroma is not bad, however. Palate is pretty mouth filling in a bad way.

"better body and beer than the shipyard, but alas, the spices are way underdone, to the point of asking "why bother"? not a good beer, with or without the spice. drinkable, but barely."

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a medium-amber brew from a 12 oz. bottle with a brisk, quickly receding head. Strong nutmeg and pumpkin aroma. The body is a bit light. Flavor is again spice and pumpkin, a bit sweet, and a bit bitter. The finish is very brief with the bitterness holding on longer than the other components. Not really familiar with the style, but overall a drinkable beer with a crispness to it. Good for the season.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Just too sweet and artificial for me. Murky orange. Big cinnamon and nutmeg in aroma. Taste is overwhelming sweet and vegetal. Pass it up.
