1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. The pour was a hazy dark amber with an average sized (1-2 finger) creamy white head that lasted a little while and produced excellent lacing that stuck to the glass rather nicely.
The aroma was very weak of a mild crystal malt and a moldy yeast with a very light hint of nutmeg and pumpkin.
It tasted bitter and acidic with just an ever so light hint of nutmeg in the beginning and finished about the same with a harsh bite of pumpkin rind at the end. The flavor lasted a long time letting the taste of rind hang around way to long.
Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and dry in texture with a very lively carbonation
Overall this did not really even taste like a Pumpkin Ale which was rather disappointing.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a dark amber from the bottle with a thick white head that dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing in the glass. Aroma is bitter, kind of like a farmhouse ale. Not what I expected. Mild carbonation on the tongue. Taste is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Light bodied but feels creamy in the mouth. Notes of nutmeg and mild cinnamon on the tongue. Not bad.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
One can almost get a bit of a pumpkin-esque flavor once the liquid hits the tip of your tongue, but it very very quickly fades to some bland vegetable taste with not much else to back it up. If the brew were smoother, silkier, heavier, and made with 10x more flavor it would be an acceptable drink. But itís not.

It reminds me of a free Thanksgiving gift basket.
The nose is spicy and if you'd like to call pumpkin a fruit, fruity.
Nice off white head that disappeared fairly quick. Lacing is sparse but present.
Taste is Fall seasonal spices, nutmeg, allspice, coriander? Pumpkin and maybe vanilla.
Mouth feel is a bit dry.
Overall after being scared away from pumpkin ale after the Shocktop incident I believe Blue moon has rebuilt my confidence.

2.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Smells good. Spice and roastiness. Looks beautiful. Crystal clear Auburn orange with a foamy off white head that fades pretty quickly. Thin mouthfeel with an edge on the finish. Some spice and veggie earthiness. Mostly pretty flat. It comes close to almost having some character but just falls short.

From a bottle. Pours hazy copper with a thick, creamy off white head. Tastes like pumpkin, creamy, foamy, wheat, orange citrus, and light spice. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like pumpkin, wheat, musky straw and orange.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Unclear light orange amber with slight white head. Aroma is pumpkin and spices. Light watery body. Not a lot of flavor. Not much happening on the palate. Much better options out there.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Deep amber hue. Thin head. Like any Blue Moon offering (an Iím not a fan) it is unimpressive. It has the adjunct macro taste of a MillerCoors beer with the label and price of a pseudo-craft. Very minimal hint of caramel malts with the expected pumpkin spice added in...presumably as a syrup latein the brewing process.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
I didnít get much off the aroma. The flavor was just eh. There was a touch of pumpkin yes. That Blue Moon finish really didnít leave me happy.
