RyanMM (45), Ferndale, Michigan, USA Jun 1, 2009 This isn’t a bad beer by any means. It’s just kinda unexciting. It’s a touch bland, none of the flavors get up and do anything special.
Pours golden, no head, nonexistent lacing. Medium mouthfeel. The honey taste is really subtle, I could use more of that. I could use more flavor period.
It’s drinkable, but not something I’m going to find myself coming back to. Acknud (770), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Jun 1, 2009 Typical wheat but maybe a little sweeter than others. Light yellow pour with a very light body. Honey is hidden. ZR2Blazer (46), Roanoke, Virginia, USA May 27, 2009 Bottle - pours light golden yellow, I can barely pick up honey on the nose. I was expecting more honey in the taste. This almost tastes like an ordinary light beer. Easy to drink, carbonated finish. Not terrible, but not impressive either. 1010 (206), Marysville, Ohio, USA May 26, 2009 Pours a golden cloudy color. Tate is average for a wheat ale. Would pass on this one next time.
12 oz. bottle. Barreras (121), Diamond Bar, California, USA May 25, 2009 Pours a clear golden honey color. Very distinct hints of honey and orange peel in its taste. An extremely simple summer ale, okay to drink on a hot day. joebudzjoe (222), Connecticut, USA May 25, 2009 Draft. I’ve never liked honey in my beer and this beer is no exception. The combination of the malt and honey makes this taste more like a cough drop than a beer. bluemooner (229), Blaine, Minnesota, USA May 22, 2009 Pours a straw yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma of wheat and honey. Tastes quite sweet with wheat and honey which is very present though not completely overpowering. Decent but simply more of the same.
