| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 4, 2008 this beer had a nice complete sweet honey taste. it is also infused with a orange and lemony flavor. the beer has a moderate yeasty mouthfeel and it is slightly slick yet not so as to take away from being refreshing. really not aromatic but taste the foamy head and enjoy the strongest hop and malt profile that his beer has to offer. use a large glass and pour down the middle. not bad as the clover in the honey does not contribute to any vegetable tastes that some lament to as SUCKY. a little bitchy in the alcohol. not bad at all. naivepegasus (183), USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 31, 2008 Pours a bit of a hazy soft orange with a finger of stark white head. Odor has a little bit of spice, but is pretty subdued. Sweet, with a little bit of honey and spice. It’s all right, a decent wheat ale. nuplastikk (1175), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 28, 2008 12oz bottle. Cloudy golden-orange color. The aroma comes off a little adjuncty, but the flavor is pretty good. A nice fresh wheaty vanilla flavor with ample honey in there as well. Decent enough, an ok session beer. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 27, 2008 Golden honey color semi cloudy with a white soapy one finger head. Honey is in the aroma and the flavor. However, the flavor does not really match the aroma. It is also yeasty with dry bitter wheat notes. I love a good wheat but this one is below average. beachbum25 (783), Powellville, Maryland, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 26, 2008 12 oz bottle-Had this at a party, it wasn’t anything to write home about. Tastes like a watered down Blue Moon w/some honey in it. Does have some wheat flavor to it, but I would drink a regular Blue Moon before I’d drink another one of these. daknole (2891), Plantation, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 25, 2008 Bottle poured into pint glass. Poured a small mostly white head with big bubbles that disappeared VERY quickly. Beer is a tiny bit hazy, but not too cloudy. Honey flavor is evident right away. Hops are barely noticeable and at finish I almost get a ciderish flavor. Not bad for a macro brewed beer. jezmez68 (332), Chesterton, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 24, 2008 Not too much different than the original. There is a honey taste to it, however. You can smell and taste the yeast, which is sort of nice. ccreel67 (1), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA does not count | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 24, 2008 Bottled, poured into a pint glass with a pale wheat color. I can’t comment on the aroma as my nose is not functioning at the moment.
The flavor actually reminds me of a lager. There is also a hint of fruit flavor and a bit of honey. The aftertaste is flat, perhaps I should call it nonexistent? I would rate Honey Moon a 7 or 8 if only judging macro & mega brews...
