jodyperkins (70), Mississippi, USA Aug 25, 2007 Poured a light clear golden amber. Not much aroma or head. Definite honey taste - luckily it didn’t taste like your typical wheat. Pleasant - easily drinkable. dkoonce (880), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA Aug 25, 2007 I’ve got a bad feeling about this, given my dislike for honey beers and wheat beers. Pours lights gold, with a thick, white head. Strange smell, almost like old fruit. Sweet and flat tasting. Kind of thin. Weird conglomeration of flavors. Too much going on for such a light beer. Better than expected. But, too many additions. WhiteAlePower (91), Long Island, New York, USA Aug 25, 2007 I am thinking more and more that Blue Moon is sacrificing something with their brews. The original is great, but all these offshoots are nothing but sub-par! Yes, you can detect the honey aroma, which is nice, but it is almost too subtle when drinking it. I had a 6 pack of 12 oz bottles. The beer was relatively drinkable, but left me yearning for more flavour. rugbydude05 (280), Kew Gardens, New York, USA Aug 24, 2007 Updated: Aug 23, 2009330ml. bottle. This beer has a golden appearance and pours well. Like the name suggests it has a pleasant honey-like aroma. The palate is average and so is the flavor. I found it to be lacking in body, but overall not a bad option. (Rating #1182) IdahoBeer (11), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 19, 2007 Great beer from start to finish. Very smooth and great drinkability. Good work. dp (512), uniontown, Ohio, USA Aug 12, 2007 wasn’t too thrilled with the first, but am warming up to it, more honey than anything else, even a honey after-taste, which is not a bad thing if you like this style, refreshing, though i think this may do better in the fall rather than summer JMerritt (1313), Macomb, Illinois, USA Aug 10, 2007 Slightly hazy yellow-orange with a ginormous frothy, uneven white head that is slowly diminishing. Sour orange aroma, sugary sweet honey, wet wheat. Honey flavor is most prevalent in the flavor, sticky & sugary-sweet. Slight grassy/wheat husk flavor, pops the most in the immediate aftertaste. Moderately water mouthfeel. About as inoffensive as they come, but also fairly boring.
