kddewees (33), Muncie, Indiana, USA Jun 22, 2009 Somewhat bitter in taste. Not a beer I’d pick out again. Has an aroma that is somewhat wheaty. Very fizzy in texture. alcolette (3), Muncie, Indiana, USA does not count Jun 22, 2009 i feel like it is nothing special. it is just lighter then regular blue moon. are you supposed to add an orange to this one too? Cybercat (778), Georgia, USA Jun 21, 2009 This one pours a hazy, opaque orange-gold with a thin white head. Aroma is wheaty and slightly malty with a hint of orange. Flavor is wheaty with a strong orange overtone that is slightly but pleasantly sour. Smooth, fizzy texture leaves nice wheaty and citrus finish. CJfromPhilly (82), Aston, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 16, 2009 Pours from the 12 oz. bottle a golden color with a large fluffy white head which settles some but is retained as a half finger head. Very active carbonation, this is on the verge of "fizzy" Aroma is of citrus & spice. 1st sip is sweet, the honey jumps out right away with the citrus (orange) riding its coattails. The after taste is of slightly bitter orange peel with a hint of peppery spice. Mouthfeel is smooth, crisp, & refreshing, and I could easily see sessioning quite a few of these on a hot summer day. This is a nice, refreshing summer ale, one that would make a great complement to food fresh off the grill at a backyard cookout. Nice stuff!!! Tommyp007 (27), Kingsport, Tennessee, USA Jun 14, 2009 An easy drinking Summer Ale, with a hint on Honey and Orange. Weaker than I expected. Wouldn’t recommend it to friends. troopie (851), USA Jun 14, 2009 Bottle. Poured lager yellow with thin white head. Slight aroma of citrus. Flavour is mostly honey with a slight orange tinge. Sweet honey finish. Unremarkable. OD40oz (600), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA Jun 13, 2009 I had this beer with jayson2425 after a night of working out in the garage. Not too bad of a brew. Nice and refreshing. Crisp with a slight honey taste. I like the Blue Moon winter brew better. nulty (11), USA Jun 12, 2009 Updated: Aug 20, 2009Bottled - This beer has a good concept but I think it needs a little more planning. Very sweet honey after taste after it goes down. When paired with an orange it is actually quite decent.
Re-rate- After more careful consumption I have come to the conclusion that I actually really like this beer. Nice smooth taste!
