pours a little darker than a regular blue moon with a fluffy good sized head. Has some citrus notes in the aroma for sure. Tastes of honey, orange with not much hop. Not a remarkable beer but better than a lot of summer beers out there.

Bottle. Pours clear light golden color with good head. Nice aroma with honey smell. Goes down easy, but not the most flavorful taste. A little watery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From bottle, called summer honey wheat now. Light amber color. Some sweetness. Not to bad for drinking out in the sun

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a golden colored body with a large foamy head with speckled lacing sliding down the sides of the glass. There was barely any carbonation seen rising. The smell had some honey and lemon with some wheat and orange in the background. The taste was mainly the wheat with the lemon and the orange in the background. There were some light malts that were in the background as well. There was a very faint taste of hops at the end. On the palate, it sat about a light with a semi-refreshing quality. This was mainly a drinkable beer. Overall, this is a decent brew. I was mostly impressed by the appearance but other than that, this is an American Pale Wheat Ale, as far as I know. I might have it again .... maybe.

Fantastic - wish they would bring it back into production. Tasty, nice flavor - love the fact it is strongly citrus. Great on the boat & in the bar - would love it year round.

The first thing you notice about this summer ale is the lack of head. Not much forms while pouring and whatever suds you manage to get will quickly dissipate before your eyes. Right away, then, you have the telltale sign of a beer with too much citrus to be properly balanced. That problem shows up in the flavor, too. Luckily, the honey character helps to cut through some of the overly strong citrus element. Still, it’s far from being a good beer.

"pours a clear golden yellow while yielding a short-lived small spritzy white head. The aroma is relatively tame, offers a good amount of graininess with some background citric notes, maybe a touch of honey. The taste mostly follows the aroma with a grainy, citric, honey profile. The mouthfee is thin, light bodied with average carbonation. "
