Pours golden w/ a full, semi spritzy froth. Hangtime is good reducing to a nice full lace. Aroma of honey and soft citrus malts. Light nectar w/ ample residual effers. A malty brew, crisp and refreshing. Posseses a defined honey essence w/ a mild squirt of perfume and orange fruit. The finish is brisk w/ a mild bittering unit.

I like honey beers... I like Blue Moon... but something about this didn’t sit right. Nothing special.

Bottle. Average beer. Poured a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of wheat and possibly honey. Flavor is citrus and wheat, with a sweet ending.

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden-yellow color with a white head. Aroma of honey and wheat. Flavor more of the same with honey sweetness and slight citrus. Fairly light on the palate, drinkable. Nothing special, but not terrible for a hot summer day.

On tap at the Hopyard, I was surprised how smooth this was. The honey was the most prominent influence in the nose and the flavor. This is obviously a low rated beer, but I admit I would drink it again.

I don’t think this beer is as bad as the ratings would indicate. It gets points taken away because of the name. light honey in the nose and malts. flavor has a fair share of honey. yes the malts are a bit corny, but that isn’t always a disaster. not as bad as the numbers would indicate.
