Fizzy yet thick topping of head paired with a straw blonde color. Aroma is weak with artifical scents of honey, grain and lemon. The flavor is funky and real hard for me to wrap my head around it because its trying so hard to be a classic summer ale but it just comes off as Coors with some extra artifical flavoring. Not worth ever trying again and i usually give beers a second chance from the tap if i didnt like it from the bottle. jcr (1195), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 8, 2009 Bottle. Medium yellow body with a frothy white head that disappears slowly. Malty aroma of grain and biscuit with hints of orange and honey. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, bitter and acidic. Light to medium body with a watery texture and lively carbonation. Not near as crisp and clean as its marketing would have you believe. FlssmrBrewAlum (1190), Lisle, Illinois, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 4, 2008 12 oz bottle found remaining from my girlfriend’s brother’s trip home. Pours a yellowish hue, clouded slightly with a small unremarkable head. Aromas are muted, slightly sweet but not much else. Taste is similiar, I can’t really put my finger on the orange peel and the honey sweetness is rather muted, leaving me with a rather unremarkable wheat ale. A little bitter in the finish, with a few sweet notes (I’d assume from the honey) mixed into the initial and body. Other than that, malts that are forgettable and no real character. I remember this being sweeter in its initial release. Pretty bad. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 30, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a yellow color with a small white head. Light sweet corn aroma and a little bit of wheat. Taste is sweet, with distinct honey notes. Crisp and mild, but lacking a lot of flavor and depth that would make this beer better. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 29, 2007 Cloudy golden pour with a decent, fluffy white head. Grainy aroma with touches of honey and orange peel. Flavor is very strong honey ... almost a mead but with a grainy wheat taste that sets it apart. Very little hop presence. Clean, subtle finish with a lingering sweetness. Nice and refreshing. SuperDave70 (1158), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 9, 2008 Pours a hazy light gold with a fizzy white head that settles quickly. Aromy of citrus and wheat, with some honey sweetness. Flavor is a typical wheat with honey and citrus coming through on the finish. Thin bodied for a wheat, but refreshing. redlem (1155), Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 16, 2007 Beware of beers that win a gold medal at the GABF. Well some of them anyway, look at the category they were entered in. Living in IL if I see honey I think Leinies Honey Weiss, a bad beer, so this one has no shot. Yes there is some hint of spices in aroma and taste but it is funny that good weiss beers dont need those spices added in they get it from the quality ingredients. I am rambling too long for a macro beer. Lawnmower, nuff said. jeremytoni (1138), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA
