I remember loving this beer, what happened, did Coors lighten the flavor to broaden to the mass public, very disappointing. poisoneddwarf (225), Rathdrum, Idaho, USA

I’m usually impressed by the honey flavor. I can barely detect any this year, however. It seems as Blue Moon grows in popularity, their beers get more bland. It’s like Coors is sacrificing quality in order to pump out more product. I’ve thought the same thing about their fall pumpkin ale for years. Years ago, that beer had a strong pumpkin pie flavor. Now I can barely detect any. And so it is with Honey Moon now. It has just a hint of honey now. Pours almost no head; pale hazy golden hue. Tastes like an inoffensive, bland wheat ale. trayns (242), Beverly Hills, Michigan, USA

Aroma is big and sweet, and the taste is awfully sweet too. This had too much artificial sweetness to it, and not enough balance throughout. bobbypaulson (100), , Minnesota, USA

That being said though, it’s still a hell of a lot better than Blue Moon is. beerfest5 (217), Simsbury, Connecticut, USA

Aroma is sweet... wheat, honey, and malt. Taste is very sweet, almost too much. I was hoping it tasted more like Blue Moon, but I was disappointed. I will say it is quite refreshing though. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA

Very big clove/wild honey flavor, rich and bold, much more potent then most honey added beers i’ve had. Light orange peel compliments the honey. Good beer, but i’d like a bit more subtlety, I don’t enjoy this as a summer beer, to sweet for hot days.
