Magnificent!!! Pretty sweet for a summer ale, and with noticeable hints of orange peel and maybe some honey (faint). There’s an odd wheaty characteristic to this brew, unlike anything I’ve had in years, but it’s refreshing! Almost zesty. I’d wager this brew is EVEN better than the regular Blue Moon, which is saying something! Utterly terrific summer lawnmower beer.

I had this in a bottle - it has a yellow color with a large white head. The palate is lacking but the aroma and flavor are nice malt. Light on the honey which is good because I can’t stand too much honey. Overall not too bad - Best Coors beer I have tried.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with a large white head. Aroma of honey, malt and wheat. Flavor of honey, malt, and light citrus. Has a bready ,light citrus finish.

THOUGHTS: Nice. A nice tweak to the normal Blue Moon. Probably the best seasonal tweak to a Blue Moon. Full Moon is better, but that is a completely different beer, not a tweak. So this was a great Blue Moon, a nice summer beer, but just an OK beer overall. It had just the right amount of honey. Not too sweet. Just enough to make it different from the original. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, light to medium yellow with a small, white head that mostly diminished. The aroma was nice but weak. There was orange, wheat and slight honey. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and moderately acidic; while the finis was moderately sweet, lightly acidic and slightly sour with an average duration. There was wheat, slight honey and a little orange. The light to medium body was a little dry with very fizzy carbonation and a moderate to heavy astringent finish.

Pours light cloudy medium dark yellow with a white frothy head and sediment at the bottom. Has the aroma of sour hops, clove and lemon. Tastes of honey, hint of orange and lemon with a little zesty clove and wheat. Watery feel. A little unpleasant aftertaste that you get from so many of those mass produced tasteless beers. Not the worst beer I’ve had from blue moon. OK overall.

Easy drinking smooth summer ale. I like the honey flavor...tastes natural. Just a subtle hint of orange. The honey/orange/wheat taste is really good and I’ll buy this again. I’ve enjoyed all of Blue Moon’s offerings and this is one of the best.
