bottle. Poured clear gold with a receding white head. Faint sweet grainy aroma. Light body, active carbonation leaves a crisp finishing mouthfeel. Cereal grain malt with a sweet honey flavour, alcoholy note.

Base taste is a light malt beer. There are some of the tastes that come out specifically from brewing an ale as opposed to a lager present. Sweet, but not overly sweet, fairly nondescript base. No hops presence to speak of. You get a little bit of the honey and orange peel in there. And some wheat. What may or may not be oats. Fairly inoffensive. Itís not going to win an award in a craft festival, but itís not going to make you want to throw up in your mouth either. I was kind of relieved to get something fairly middle of the road after drinking a really awful blackberry beer from their mix pack the other day.

Picked up a single to try. Desperately looking for a honey wheat to replace my favorite shiner honey wheat, now that it is no longer produced. Have a couple more to try. This wasnít the worse but it is kinda disappointing. Mainly it is way too sweet, almost artificial. The rest is just okay. Good carbonation. I really canít comment on color or head as I was drinking it from the bottle. Bottom line: is just okay.

Bottle into goblet. Almost no head that disappeared instantly. Almost flat w v low carbonation. Now looks like apple juice. Aroma minimal - some hints of sweetness and citrus. Flavor quite pleasant - honey, green apples, mild orange notes. Would be better if there was some carbonation in the beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pretty much what you except....blue moon with a bigger punch of sweetness and citrus. Not horrible, just pretty bland

Pours a very pretty clear and bright straw color. Awesome head. Doesnít last long, some lacing. I was hoping for some sediment.

Smells very much of honey right at the front. I pick up some grassy hops. Maybe some sort of spice. Not much else. But it smells really nice.

Taste is sweet. Honey is strong right at the front. I can taste the wheat. Thereís a little spice there. I donít really taste any orange peel.I

Mouthfeel is dry. I can taste the honey in the aftertaste too. I love honey so maybe Iím rating it a little higher than I normally would because of that. Itís smooth and drinkable. Itís dry. Itís pretty refreshing. Itís medium-light.

Overall, itís good. Itís not amazing. But the honey in this really makes the beer. I might buy this again, might not. Iím not as impressed as I thought I would. It is worth a try.

12 oz single bottle from Mile High Wine & Spirits as "Summer Honey Wheat". Clear, dark yellow appearance with a ring of white head, eventually fully dissipating. Aroma of honey, floral notes, wheat bread and light orange peel. Similar flavor, mildly sweet with a thin body. Not very good overall. Pairing: Widespread Panic - Geraldine & the Honey Bee
