2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at Cincinnati Winter Beer Fest (CWBF) 2013. Clear reddish pink color. Minimal white head. Cranberry nose. Not as grapey. Pronounced, soft carbonation. Dry texture. Macro blue moon feel to it. More berry than grape, as far as fruits. Feels articificial. Kind of sweet taste. Not interesting at all, but very macro. No complexity.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle at BTBF. Glad I didnít have to pay for a whole bottle to get this tick. Pours with a pink hued body and a foamy white head. Aromas are of grapes, koolaid and VDK Diacetyl. Minimal malt, no hops. Flavors are of champagne, generic concord grapes, sulfur, lightly grainy. Sort of tastes like a crappy sangria. Lively/fizzy bubbles, dry and thin.

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle, shared at game night. Purpley and bubbly, with a quick fading light purple head. Vinous grape juice, sweet, clumsy, lacking complexity, too sweet, cloying. I canít shake the feeling that Iím drinking cheap bum wine.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750mL bottle. Poured transparent garnet with a short, plum-tinted head.. very interesting color to it. The aroma picked up sweet, redder vinous notes, earthy wheat, and jammy berries.. as it warmed, the berries worked a bit too hard for my liking, but I did enjoy the grapeage. The flavor found clean wheat and lightly-toasted bread at the core, with jammy berries and red grapes throughout.. lightly-charred oak barrel on the dry edges and paired with berries on the finish. Light-medium bodied and a tad sweet on the palate.. wish it had more tartness.. this was aiight.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml from a liquor store in Jackson, WY. Fancy gold foil. Pours a deep purple color with a small white head. A light fruity nose. The wheat base fits pretty well with the grape juice, some light yeast, sweet grapes. Decent.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The beer pours a purple color with a large pink (thatís right, pink) head. The aroma is very wine like. I get a lot of the cabernet sauvignon grapes, with a little bit of biscuit or wheat thrown in. The flavor is very similar. I get some fruity notes from the grapes, but there is also some tannic notes like you would get from a big cabernet. There is some wheat and other malt notes, but this is really all about the grapes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
750 ml bottle. This pours like grape juice with a pretty purple head and a deep red clear beer under it. It kind of smells like grape juice, too, but more vinous. My first thought after one sip is that it resembles communion juice. Grape flavor with a bit of wood and malt. The wheat ale aspect filters in finally and seems to be little more than a vehicle for the grapes. My first thought was not far off. That being said, this is completely inoffensive and extremely drinkable.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a dark blood red-plum with a large foamy dark pink head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was dryish and musty merlot and tart cherry. The flavor was dryish, musty and dusty merlot with hints of tart cherry, vinegar and wood. Medium length musty merlot finish. Medium body.Somewhat disappointing.
