From 22oz bottle to chalice. Pours a nice gold color. Smell is of grapes, spice, light wheat. Taste is light bodied on the sweeter side. Heavy carbonation at the end.

Some raisin, some alcohol, pale, sparkling, white foam, light sweetness, fizzy. Nice fresh beer for a sunny day.

Pours a clear pale golden with a robust eggwhite head that diminishes quickly. Plenty of small rising bubbles. Aroma is white grape juice and malt liquor! Taste is dry slightly sour white grapes and high gravity malt liquor. Some fusil alcohol in the taste and some warmth after the swallow. This isn’t terrible, but its clearly overpriced for what you get. $8.30 for the bottle should not be any higher than $4.50 for what you get. Assuming the pricing scheme doesn’t change, and why would it, this has been my last Blue Moon specialty beer. They just don’t have a good track record compared to most in the class this aspires to.

This beer while it has some quality flavors but the grapes are too acidic. The flavor has a nice white grape juice quality. But it falls short ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

What a stepdown from the special Scaldis. This beer was drinkable but not for $9.!! The lightness of a white wine grape is certainly noticeble but it just seemed a bit flat. And the grape tastes okay.

2/13 Sample at Binny’s Downers Grove)-Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of wine. Taste of more wine than beer. This light bodied brew was not my style. Had too much wine.

The pour is pink/gold, white head. The aroma is red wine must, wheat, cereal grain. The flavor is grapes, tannins, pepper, yeasty. The finish is light pepper. OK.

Bottle sampled at Jax Beer Fest 2013. Hazy golden pour with a small off-white head. Generic grapey wine aroma with pale malts and metallic notes. Sweet wine flavors with bready malts and more metallic aspects. Glad I didn’t have to buy this puppy.

750ml bottle. Clear golden color. White head of foam. Aroma of dry white wine. Tastes of wheat malts, some fruit. Not as nice as Impulse. (3564)

From bottle. Light Belgian wit nose with a note of oak and white wine of some sort. Fairy faint nose. Dull golden clear with thin white dissipating head. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Starts sweet, sweeter than Blue Moon. Notes of chardonnay or similar white wine, with mild acidic bite. Fruity, finishing fairly smooth with a bit of white wine profile and watery bitter after.
