scraff (1612), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Apr 18, 2008 Draft - Dark orange, thin creamy white head. Soft nose of earthed lime and hints of sweet malt. Light earthy wheat and citrus flavors balance on slight caramel grainy notes. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, soft citric finish. Decent for what it is I guess...
dpjuart (501), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 1, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with foamy, off-white head. Looks enticing. Not much nose, smells of wheat and slight banana, maybe some slight citric notes. Taste is an unfortunate amount of lime-esque notes accenting a wheat malt body with a slightly crisp ending. No hops, no real taste other than the lime. Odd metallic aftertaste. Could be the age. A big "eh" from me. Snojerk321 (879), San Diego, California, USA Jun 30, 2008 12oz bottle from BevMo! Pours a clear bronze color with a fizzy white head. Not really a wheat ale. Had some citrus notes and some maltyness to the aroma. Kind of a dry taste. Hint of lime. Bitter finish. phishpond417 (1110), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 29, 2008 Tasting this, i thought it resembled closer to a lightly hopped american pale ale. Pours orangeish with a small head, aromas are somewhat citrusy and of subtle hops. mouthfeel is full and creamy, little fruit on the finish. otherwise decent beer. 184601 (93), Mexicali, Mexico Jun 29, 2008 Its OK, the aroma its practically non-existent,the body its like a brown ale, with soap-bubbles-like head, the flavor has some sour lime present quite not good, altough its very subtle doesnt fit well in the recipe, the palate, its a bit acid but from that quite forgettable.Overall its nothing outside of this world. kibble48 (14), Kettering, Ohio, USA Jun 28, 2008 Overall I wasn’t super impressed. It wasn’t horrible I wouldn’t pour it out. I just expected more out of a spring ale. light color, the flavor is there but it lacks the finish.
