Aubrey (2614), Denver, Colorado, USA Apr 3, 2008 Nice orange hue with a slight haze; foamy head with big and little, tightly packed bubbles. Light, watery texture with a mildish carbonation, even though it had some spritziness to it. Malts were light and sweet (bread, watered-down caramel, honey). Light, herbal bitterness. Hints of orange. Lime peels were evident, and I actually thought it was a nice addition to the beer. Overall, the beer was a bit shallow, but it was also refreshing and surprisingly non-offensive.
Mad_Indian (825), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 7, 2008 Bottle from Canals. Copper pour with a spice and sour citrus aroma. Wheat is noticeable but it is too thin for my tastes. It was just below average. tilldeath (29), Arvada, Colorado, USA Oct 2, 2008 not bad but not what I was expecting. Much like the pumpkin, this beer has a serious lack of flavor up front and makes me wonder did the take unfiltered coors light and let some limes sit in it for a day and try and pass it off as this?? jcdsmack (46), Henderson, Nevada, USA Sep 25, 2008 It’s not bad. The lime is interersting the malt flavor is a little heavy to mix with the lightnesss of the lime not a whole lot of hop character. I would drink it again but it is sort of a strange mix between styles that leaves something to be desired. nqualls (422), Tennessee, USA Sep 19, 2008 Bottle. This is by far the worst Blue Moon offering. The hint of lime is gross. Would rather drink Coors Light. stchloe (197), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 7, 2008 Because I cannot bash on this line enough. Interesting addition of Kieffer lime. No one likes Coors.
