COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the 1940ís, Belgian-Style Pale Ales grew in popularity and were ordered by the round due to their balanced taste. Rounder, our expression of this sessionable style, is crafted with hibiscus and orange peel for a hint of spiciness and touch of wheat for a smoother, rounder taste.

Malts: Pale, Imported Caramel, Imported Light Caramel, White Wheat
Hops: Cascade
Our Twist: Orange Peel, Hibiscus

Light amber orange with a disappearing off white head. The aroma is sweet with dark fruit. The flavor is harsh and rather bitter with some solvent, berries, caramel and alcohol. Sweet fruity finish.

12oz bottle poured into a tumbler. Clear amber color with a small tan head. Bready nose, caramel, sweet cornflakes, faint floral notes. Sweet malt, caramel, some cake, lo bitterness. Light-med body, not very crisp, short finish and a bit boring. So so.

From a Blue Moon seasonal pack during a biz trip to Auburn Hills. 355ml bottle, 5.6% a/v Pours a decent copper gold color with a thin offwhite head. Aroma is pretty floral and also grassy/citrusy hop notes. The taste is pretty tame for a belgian ale but smooth and fruity with nice floral notes. Palate is a bit sweet and the carbonation is moderate. Overall a neat attempt at it, but not a go to for a Belgian.

Bottle from Blue Moon sampler pack. Pours a medium orange tan, with a white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is typical Blue Moon with an added spice. Flavor is significantly smoother than normal Blue Moon, and that bit of spice is present here, too. Palate is typical big beer, light and highly carbonated. Overall itís a big improvement over standard Blue Moon, and is a pretty decent beer. If it was sold on itís own Iíd buy it now and then.

The Rounder pours a mostly clear yellowish orange with a light tan bubbly head that didn't last long and left little evidence of its existence. The aroma is orange with a spice I cannot determine. The flavor is mostly a spice, perhaps coriander with some orange. Overall this is an alright brew but certainly not outstanding. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A clear copper color with half a finger of head and little lacing. Aroma has a little fruity ester and hint of caramel. Taste has some cardboard and pale malt with a touch of sweetness. No hops to speak of. Watery mouthfeel and light bodied with medium carbonation. Tastes off, did not enjoy.

Enjoyed a bottle of Blue Moonís Rounder Pale ale while watching the NFL. The taste was pleasent with a light sweetness that did not linger long.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Clear deep golden color. Aroma is a bit oxidized with a bit of cardboard, fruitiness and a bit of caramel. Sweetish flavor, a bit caramelly, fruity, with a bit of spiciness in the finish. Light to medium-bodied.

Clear copper body with an ample white head. Faint hop aroma. The flavor is lightly bitter, some cardboard with a slightly dry finish. I missed whatever hops are supposed to be here.
