2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Most blue moon beers taste pretty similar, and this is ok exception. Pours a light brown with a thin tan head. Smells like a bit of nuts, with beer. Taste is a. It like Newcastle, some brown, with some hops in the finish. Had in the bottle.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Bland and kinda flavor-less. I was expecting something a little better with the whole "Belgian-style" moniker, but meh.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a nice ale, with a delicate malt flavor and significant hops. Very light in color, with an average head. It is a good thirst quencher.

See, hereís the the deal. My boss is pretty cool, and he knows Iím into beer. But he doesnít really know anything about beer (You see where this is going, right?). So, as a reward for some recent work, he bought me a case...of Blue Moon. Now, Iím gonna tick íem (because thatís what I do), but they really are kind of ...bland? This is the second one Iíve tried that doesnít really have much character. At any rate, I will be trying a bunch of these...

Mild tea nose.Clear copper, thick yellow head. Tea and aspartame, somewhat cloying. Some grass and orange notes. Exactly what is Belgian about this? Not very good.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is a fantastic beer. It has a nice finish and a great dark color. Probably the best Blue Moon variety. Is quite smooth.

3/11/2014. From bottle. Amber color with a white head. Malty and hoppy aromas. Flavors a little bit too buttery caramel for my taste. Nice spicy notes and hops are there.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
I shared this with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. I have to admit I was expecting something different from something called a Belgian-Style Pale. But this looked, smelled ,and tasted more like an amber. Amber in color with q small white head and light lacing.. Nose of floral hops. Medium in body. Flavors shows light fruit. Some bitterness. Gets better as it warms.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ounce bottle from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. This beer is clear amber with a beige head that leaves cool looking sticky lacing. This smells like an English bitter but without the hops. Malts. I made it a point to go into this beer with an open mind. With that being said, this is a failure as a Belgian Ale. However, the label says it is a Belgian Style Pale, whatever that is. It is much closer to an amber with sugar added. A bit of toffee and gentle fruit. Oh so light bitterness. I taste just a bit of spiciness that is tasted on the very tip of my tongue. The hibiscus is tasted although it is light. This beer improved with warming. There is some fruity bitterness and brown sugar is tasted late. This improved with warming and after I got over it being anything Belgian.
