COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Farmhouse Ales were brewed for the diligent farmhands who drew the short straw and had to work the arduous harvest. Our brewmaster’s expression blends the spiciness of a Farmhouse Ale with the tartness of a Flanders Red for a remarkably refreshing finish. Malts: Caramel Malt Pale Malt, European Abbey Malt, European Acidulated Malt, Chocolate Malt, Malted White Wheat Hops: Spalt Select, Czech Saaz Our Twist: White Pepper, Coriander, Hibiscus

Formerly know as "Farmhouse Red Ale"

This is a so-so holiday red, some spice and some sour. Caramel, fruit and coriander.

Bottle. Pours to a simple filtered copper body with a thin off-tan head. The aroma is dry dusty grains with a subtle coriander and floral hop. The flavor has a deep toasty biscuit malt and noble hop combination with lots of yeast and a dash of white pepper. Moderate body has a lingering toasted malt. Dry. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours clear copper red, with generous head. Head fades quickly with little lacing. Light spicy malt aroma. Light body going down. Tart taste that is somewhat lasting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yay party beer - 12oz bottle into transparent contempt. Nose is slightly spicy malt grain as generic as that sounds. Sips adds wheat and a muddled mess. Autumnal to says the least. Meh.

This was shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours a clear copper color with a small beige head. Very little lacing. Nose is somehow like gym socks that needed be washed two weeks ago. Medium in body. Flavor is must better than the aroma I get fruit, chocolate, and some spice. Coriander I think. But while there are lots of flavors they are kings of a mishmash. Overall a dismal failure.

bottle - Pours red-orange and clear with a small, lingering, off-white head. It smells of caramel malt and berries. This light bodied brew is sweet with a spicy character that’s a bit interesting. Pretty good.

Undated 12 oz bottle served in a pint glass. Pours dark red-amber; clear with a fairly durable head. Aroma is neutral rather than appealing, but then I am not a fan of most farmhouse ales. Taste: an appealing fruity flavor with a sweet/tart balance leaning towards the tart side. Hints of strawberries. Tame and mild for style. Medium body and medium-high carbonation.

Mild currant nose and even milder spice. Clear copper, medium yellowish head. Vinous currant flavor. Nicely balanced. Fizzy and medium body. Pleasantly surprising, not mind boggling, but good. I misread the label and was expecting some sort of bad strawberry beer.

Reddish orange, completely clear. Nice white head. Smells like toast and a little bit of blueberry. Sweet, and some fruity flavors. Maybe some citrus? Did not get any hibiscus, white pepper, or coriander.
