3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from a seasonal 12 pack left at my house during a holiday party. Served tonight in a snifter because thatís what was close. Beautiful reddish amber pour with a short lived khaki head. Fruitcake aroma...and thatís a good thing. Yeasty, doughy, and candied fruit like raisins, currants, and dried cinnamon apples. Taste is like apple pie in a glass. I can taste all of the components from cinnamon apple glaze, crust, and fresh apples. This is a pleasant surprise. What doesnít surprise me is the lower ratings because of the label. Put a New Glarus sticker on this bottle and watch the ratings soar!

You can really taste the cinnamon, and it gives a lovely after taste. Perfect on a frosty day

Excellent. Pours nice. Low amount of head. Added an orange in the glass, went well with the floral aroma.

From memory, I am trying to catch up the last couple of months. Bought this in a Holiday Sampler Pack. They went a little overboard with the spices on this one. I like the taste of beer, additives should not be overwhelming for me.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2013 12oz. bottle into trappist style glass, which really seemed to bring out the powerful and pleasing scent of cinnamon as soon as it poured. Taste is spicy, again, strong on cinnamon, but not sharp or hot. A good winter-themed beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear amber with an off white head. Smells of cinnamon and caramel with some wheat undertones. A well-balanced brew, missing just a little something extra canít quite put my finger on it though. Decent brew though for a macro and I tip my hat to Coors for this one. Great Thanksgiving/Christmas beer.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a medium amber. Aroma is light caramel and cinnamon. Tastes lightly malty and then the cinnamon gets you. It would work as a thanksgiving beer, but it feels out of place in a winter sampler pack.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Poured a medium amber/reddish color with minimal white head. Aroma was spicy with some ginger and cinammon. The flavor followed with a bit of maltiness and perhaps caramel. This was actually pretty decent. Iíd probably get it again.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from sampler pack pours crisp brownish ruby. Aroma is like cinnamon toast. Flavor is very sweet, fairly light, and with quite a bit of cinnamon. Slightly caramelly, and by that I mean it tastes like a caramello bar, not the normal caramelized malts that us beer fans are used to. Interesting, but more of an interesting exercise than a beer I would really want to have a lot.
