UPDATED: MAR 9, 2013 Tap @ Schmick & McCormick’s Seafood Restaurant, Las Vegas 17/04/12. Pours a clear orange with a small, white head. Aroma is clove, lemon, some straw and slight rice. Taste is mostly straw and lemon with the rice hanging in the background. Palate is light. Doesn’t handle seafood well. Ended up feeling somewhat stuffy.

20.04.2012. 0,33l Bottle. Thanks to Per Anders. Malty aroma. Nice smooth beer with very nice malty flavours of malt and bitterness.

12oz bottle, thanks to my uncle George. Pours a clear yellow orange color, with some bubbles on the side of the glass. Thin white head that quickly fades to minimal. Stronger carbonation. More dry texture. Medium body. Very faint citrus peel aroma. Light bitter, somewhat zesty sweet taste. These Blue Moon wheat ale variants really do not interest me at all.

12oz bottle. Pours golden with small fizzy white head. Aroma is very faint, grain and citrus. Mildly sweet with just a touch of citrus flavor. Almost no finish whatsoever. Mediocre.

11 apr 2012, bottle. Light yellow, clear, some steady bubbles. Aroma is sickly sweet cheap caramel beer. Thin body and a bit syrupy. Lots of sickly sweet caramel and nothing else. Ugh.

This is a bad beer. I typically am okay with what Blue Moon has to offer, but this is their worst one. There is nothing good about this beer. I barely tastes like a wheat.

Blue Moon Spring Blonde Wheat Ale has a very thick, fluffy, slightly off-white head and a clear, yellow-golden appearance, with some bubbles and little-to-no lacing. The aroma is faint, but one can detect a touch of lemon zest and white bread. Taste is of white wheat bread, lemons, orange, and just a pin-prick of hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and somewhat soft, and Blue Moon Spring Blonde Wheat Ale finishes refreshing, tasty, and easy drinking. Although neither wheat or flavored beers are for me, I think this one is pretty good. RJT

This is much more drinkable ice cold. That’s about all there is to say. Aroma is awful. Flavor is citrus, something a little fruity like peach, some wheat, some hops and something weird going on that tastes like soap. I’ve tasted quite a few blue moon and they’re usually pretty decent. Please do not try, whenever people in my store buy this I warn them.

Bottle. Golden color with a very thin white head. Grassy aroma with tones of citrus. Thin and watery texture with hints of coriander. Average carbonation. Nothing worth going out of your way for but still quite drinkable and refreshing if your in the mood for something light.
