COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blue Moon Brewing Company is bringing a completely new beer to the table for spring. Brewed with orange and lemon peel for a little extra zing, Blue Moon Spring Blonde Wheat Ale is a refreshing golden-colored beer with a crisp, citrus finish.

Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a dense, well-retained white head. The aroma picked up fresh, clean wheat with light accents of orange peel.. not much of interest going on. The flavor found honey and corn at the core, with grassy notes and lightly tangy wheat around.. finished with more adjuncty sweetness and wheat. Light-medium bodied and well-carbonated on the palate.. creamy feel.. good feel, but just a bit too sweet for me.

Very bland and uninteresting. Rather flat with little to no head. Medium gold color. Kind of a skunky back end. Not a very good tasting beer at all.

A step up from their flagship beer but wouldn't compete with most wheat beers. Decent for the price. Cheers! -tabednar

...bottle. Thin, watery, only slight wheat or citrus notes in there. Not undrinkable, but not good either.

12oz bottle from the local grocery store
Appearance: Clear golden with a small white head and light lacing, lots of carbonation
Aroma: Wheat and citrus
Taste: Stale malts, wheat, lemon, salty and sweet
Ok, but I wouldn’t have another.

Bottle. I expected a lot more from this beer, I have to say. No aroma to speak of. Golden hue which is surprisingly clear and minimal head, if any, which disappears almost instantly. You get a hint of the lemon and orange but the citrus flavor is actually a bit underwhelming - again, I expected much better.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized fizzy white head. Poor head retention. Aroma of toasted wheat, spice, grain and citrus. The taste is sweet wheat, nutty notes, spice, citrus, toasted notes and raisin. Thin bodied.

12 ounce bottle, pours a cloudy yellow, aromas of wheat, citrus, and some clean sweet grain. Flavor is the same with some lemon/lime coming through. Not the worst Blue Moon I’ve had.

Bottle thanks to my friend Jamie: Pours a hazy yellow golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet grain, citrus, and wheat. Taste is very smooth with some lemon fruitiness, which seemed to be balanced by the wheat instead of sour as I would have expected.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2013 Tap @ Schmick & McCormick’s Seafood Restaurant, Las Vegas 17/04/12. Pours a clear orange with a small, white head. Aroma is clove, lemon, some straw and slight rice. Taste is mostly straw and lemon with the rice hanging in the background. Palate is light. Doesn’t handle seafood well. Ended up feeling somewhat stuffy.
