12 oz. bottle. Pours a very poorly retained, off white head over a clear amber (SRM 12) body.......nose is grain, light toffee/caramel.....taste is cereal, light toffee/caramel, slightly sweet, hints of orange......mouth feel light of medium, carbonation high. This falls within this very broad style primarily because of color. It is a rather dull beer with little to recommend it. BJCP 6/2/11/3/5

Aroma is light roasted malts, mild sweetness and a hint of fruit. The flavor is similar to the aroma, with a sweetish/smooth finish. Not bad.

Bottled. Poured clear, fiery orange with a short white head. The aroma picked up sweet oranges and tangy wheat over caramel notes.. ok, but not enticing. The flavor found orange peel, tart wheat, and light peppery notes over sweet caramel.. more carbonation and residual sugars on the finish. Light-bodied with fairly high carbonation on the palate.. very drinkable.

Not much in the aroma other than a light malty sweetness. Crystal clear copper/amber color with a foamy white head. A good quantity of carbonation gives it a creamy feel. A bit more malt body and flavor than regular Blue Moon, but the orangy flavor is fairly similar (and good). Light fruity sweetness with a little tang and some vanilla, along with a little bitterness in the back for balance. Finishes creamy and sweet with a good lasting malt flavor. Nice, refreshing spring beer.

Pours clear gold into a Sam glass. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing to skim surface. Caramel and citrus aromas. Soft hay and bready caramel upfront turning to mild sweet citrus in the medium length finish.

Another fairly decent beer. Not too wheaty, with some orange but not over the top. It sits a little bit in the stomach, but itís not heavy.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. The aroma is of caramel, toast, sulfur, hint of fruit, noticeable oxidization. Big caramel flavor, followed by sulfur, toast, a touch of orange in the background. Footbalmed!

smells like blue moon w/ some orange peel and bread. Flavor has a bunch of weird sweetness w/ some sort of spice almost a really light clove, average palate fairly easy to drink. OK.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2013 Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a finger of off-white head. Settles in minutes to lasting cap with minimal lacing. Mildly fruity, wheaty aroma. Flavor is fruity, citrus, peachy, sweet up front with wheaty finish. Light carbonation, light body, and mildly watery texture. A mediocre fruity beer.

Iíll be the first to say that I think Blue Moon is perhaps the worst beer to crossover from macro to craft brews, but this concoction is not that bad. Has some orange in it, though not as much as the regular BM, and has some decent malt notes. Itís drinkable but thatís as far as worth noting about it.
