Formerly Known as Valencia Amber Ale

Our limited-release Valencia Amber Ale is crafted with roasted malts, Valencia orange peel, and a touch of wheat for an uplifting orange, caramel aroma. It’s the perfect inspiration for taking advantage of the season.

The aroma is spicy, orange, orange peel. The appearance is clear orange, white head. The flavor is orange, light pepper, spicy wheat. Medium in body, slightly thick, creamy mouthfeel. The finish is pepper, pine, orange peel. Not bad.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a very softly carbonated transparent orange brown colored body. The aroma was spicy and musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of mild citrus mild caramel toffee and sweet. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Clear amber with a soapy off-white head. Aroma of grain and light citrus. Taste is malty and a tad over-sweet. Medium bodied. I’m actually impressed; this is drinkable. Much less cloying and disgusting than a regular blue moon.

Dark gold colour/light amber with a small white head. aroma is biscuity cardboard and light caramel maltiness with a hint of citrus. Earthy amber/pale malt body with light orange marmalade tones. Actually a decent amber, with some dusty maltiness being the main detraction. Not nearly as ’orange peel’ as I was hoping for either.

4% version. Pours a deep orange color with a medium white head. A pretty bad aroma of spice and oranges, just seems dirty. A decent flavor: light earthy orange, some seeds, light spices. Easy. Decent. It grew on me.

bottle. light generic fruit mixed with a light generic amber beer. unoffensive and unimpressive at the same time.

Central Market bottle. I’m not a Coors hater but this isn’t their beer offering. A bland, dusty amber ale with just a hint of citrus. Okay.

Pours fizzy, amber-orange with a short, off-white head. Scent is strongly orange.... Taste is orange malt, not as sweet as aroma..definitely has the "peel bitter"... Overall, rather refreshing....still a Blue Moon, but better than most of the family.

A good amber! Pours a very nice amber color with a thick white head. Smells is of vanilla and caramel. Taste is very creamy, vanilla and citrus. Quite malty. Had on tap at the Relic Tavern. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle from a sampler pack my nephew got at Costco. Nose is orange peel (citrus oily), some bready malts, and a little floral. Clear orange with a small off white head. Flavor is a hint of bitter, a little caramel malt, and ahint of the orange.
