Rated 3/24/13. Portion of a 12 oz bottle into a Hunahpuís snifter. Hey, at least itís not as bad as putting Budweiser Black Crown in it...from notes. A: Pours an orange-amber color, with no head. Iíll chalk it up to my glass being somewhat dirty at this stage. S: Thereís some orange and sweet caramel. Pretty blah, which isnít too surprising. T: An orange-y start fades into a finish of really bland wheat. If the nose was pretty blah, the flavor is really blah. M: Relatively light and crisp. Still, the sweetness detracts from the drinkability too much. O: Eh, not great. Still, Iíve had far worse.

Pale copper color, white head dissipates quickly. Nose is sweet and bready with a hint of orange. Dry with a bitter finish. Spicy and faint orange aromas.

Amber met dik schuim. Ruikt pilsig. Veel carbo, karamellig zoetje, als je het weet proef je de sinaasappel schil.

Pours clear amber color with off white head. Toasted malt aroma with caramel and orange. Bready, malty, and fruity flavor. Not very good. Medium body with average carbonation.

Bottle - Pours a clear amber with a smallish, quickly dissipating head. So,e orange and malt aromas. Taste like the aromas. Not unpleasant.

Bottle from the spring mix-pack. Nice coloration, a bright amber, slightly brownish. Small beige head. Mild scents of wheat and malt, just the slightest hint of orange/citrus. A little more of the orange in the taste, along with wheat and malt. Pretty much just how itís described on the label. Mild overall. Itís decent, but doesnít hold my attention for long.

Tasted on 1/19/15 from a capped 12oz bottle, thanks to Kyle. Pours clear dark orange with average white head that slowly recedes to a thick collar of lace. The nose is bready caramel malt with a very light herbal touch, and some bitter orange peel. The flavor is the same bready caramel malt with just the lightest hint of zesty orange peel. The body is medium with average carbonation and a short malty finish.

Bottle from mix pack, pours a clear copper with no head at all, and I poured it fairly aggressively, aroma is boring, sweet malt with a touch of spices, the flavor has a metallic front end with a sweet boring finish, ugh.

pours clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is hay, malt, and something else subtle that must be the Valencia. Ah yes. The orange definitely shows up in the taste. Some malt and just a hint of bitter as well. The finish is of average length, bittersweet. Not too bad of a beer IMO. This oneís been sitting in my fridge for many months, so maybe this one is actually better with some age?
