3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a medium creamy off white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is honey and roasted malt. Thin mouthfeel with a bitter orange peel and light dry finish. A good wit.

Number ratings - what the heck is this - the wine industry?
should probably keep ur eyes on the overall rating with me.....
Keep it simple - first mouthful off the bottle made me almost toss it down the drain.
3rd swig & finally i feel like i can drink this thing.
Almost done & thank goodness
I love you blue moon but this stuff is kinda gross.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
bottle from mix pack. pours a clear amber under a small white head. malty nose with some orangey citrus. flavors of toasted malt. surprisingly bready. the valencia orange addition doesn’t really make much of an appearance. this is mostly a toasted, very malty, amber ale. quite different from the rest of the blue moon series if i remember correctly.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at GABF. Pours a deeper hazy orange/amber with an offwhite head. The nose shows a hint of citrus and more caramel than anything. Pretty one note and bland. On tasting, there is a subtle tartness and a clean hit of citrus. The malts are muddied and don’t really come together. Not a bad beer, just lacking character.
