Our limited-release Valencia Amber Ale is crafted with roasted malts, Valencia orange peel, and a touch of wheat for an uplifting orange, caramel aroma. It’s the perfect inspiration for taking advantage of the season.

Skunky Aroma with a weak and a bit skunky flavor. Pour is a light amber with no head.

one and about .38 12 oz. bottle(s) poured into a 22 oz. "blue moon" labeled glass that looks much like a lager glass with a marketing silk screened imprint on it. aromas: sweet malteds with a small tint of brown. looks: a very comfortable, open toned copper. taste: very likable; full, smooth, satisfying gulps @ 1st, then slower mouthfuls then sips then gulps again. ok palate. overall, a 3.2 since it’s so easy to dance by, too.

chinchill (2128) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 19, 2014
12 oz. bottle with a June 2014 date stamped on the neck. Pours clear amber with a large and creamy tan head that has good durability and leaves fine lacing on the glass. The aroma is malty and musty with hints of orange and yeast.. The flavor is a little subdued but balanced: light bready malts with hints of wheat, orange juice, orange pith and grapefruit. Light-medium body with good, soft, medium-high carbonation. O: Refreshing but perhaps best suited for transitional (towards craft beers) beer drinkers.

smell is amber like malt, metal. taste is wheaty, caramel and a bit of alcohol after it warms a touch, unfortunately. started better ice cold. decent and drinkable but booze showed up late sadly.

Descent aroma but really lacking in the taste department. Not a big fan of blue moon but the wife loves it so what ya going to do?

Good crisp beer, not bad for the price. Good for starters to the craft beer world.

Great head and excellent orange flavor. I like it better than adding orange slice to a regular Blue Moon. I will be buying this in the future.hazy, white foam, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, average carbonation.

Bullit (4030) - Burgos, SPAIN - MAR 6, 2014
Bottle from Publix, Sarasota. Amber coloured, with an off-white head. Nose is wheat, orange, slightly malted, bit of caramel. Flavour is light malty, caramel, oranges. A bit metallic and harsh. Medium carbonation. Slightly sweet and short finish.

This beer is out of the bottle. smells like nothing, tastes like wheat that is about all for this. it is not a terrible taste but I really do not taste any orange what so ever.

Overripe orange, grass nose. Clear amber, medium head. Soft carbonation, medium body. Malty with an orange accent.. Very light fusel alcohol detected, almost unnoticeable as it hides behind the orange peel quite well. Respectable.
