12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear dark amber color with a thin head that fades quickly. Aroma of toffee and grainy notes. The taste is toffee, sugary notes and some faint spice. Not too bad.

Tasted on tap at Old Chicago’s in Aurora, Colorado. Cherry wood appearance. Aroma smells like a typical sweet Belgian ale with candy sugar. Nutty brown flavor is more dominant than the Belgian ale taste. Body is pretty thin and actually tastes pretty flat. Below average beer.

This beer has a dark amber color with a reddish tint, and a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes slowly. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of caramel, malt and fruit. Light body with a caramel malt character and notes of wheat, yeast and a hint of spice. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Average overall.

I got this in a mixed sampler pack of winter brews form world market. It smelled like farts and it just tasted like bowels. When I went online and found it was listed as a Dubbel I was shocked, this is not a Belgian styled dubbel. This beer is awful, do not buy it.

12oz bottle, thanks to Greg. Best by 5/27/13. Clear brown / red color. Bit of bubbly off-white head, fades to nearly nothing. Lighter carbonation, light body. Kind of watery, not really a fan of the texture. Sweet taste, kind of a sweet nutty flavor. Some caramel, macro feel to the texture, light spice, maybe some honey. Doesn’t really taste "abbey" at all. Artificial flavors added to attempt a "Belgian" profile just taste artificial. I managed to finish the whole bottle, but I didn’t really enjoy it.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a bread note with underlying sugar and a hint of darker grains. Flavor starts with the same bread note that lasts throughout and is complimented by a bit of sweetness from toffee.
