knights97 (43), Tennessee, USA May 20, 2008 Updated: May 27, 2008Very disappointed in this beer, not special about this beer, the only lasting impression here was that it had a metallic taste from pour bottling hotstuff (3019), Indiana, USA Mar 13, 2008 Bottle. Poured a small fizzy ivory head that mostly diminished, fair amount of lacing, transparent, fizzy, fast rising carbonation observed, and an orange hue. Nose was roasty malts, sweet, and lightly hoppy. Flavor was sweet, malty, sticky, gummy, and dry. Mouthfeel, was smooth, gummy, sticky, thin, and dry. Light in body. Nah, nothing special going on with this beer for sure. Not as tasty as their regular Blue Moon. chadcs (76), Westminster, South Carolina, USA Feb 10, 2008 Pours a medium brown, with a slight head. Not a very special winter beer. I wouldn’t buy this one again. Pizzim (4), Largo, Florida, USA does not count Feb 6, 2008 Ok aroma with a decent taste but nothing special. its not retires just seasonal not as good as their regular rodneykm (107), Westminster, South Carolina, USA Feb 4, 2008 Pours a bit cloudy brown - ok aroma and appearance - nothing special - Final verdict is I’d but this again...only if I’m desperate for a winter ale.
