2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20amber hue into my chalice. Minimal head, little retention. Scent is clean up front if not outright dull. Taste is a blast of sweetness with dark fruit on the edges. A bit watery but sits heavy in my stomach. Alchohol is rough around the edges. Even with the lower ABV, this is by no means a more seesion able "belgian" style. Blah.

Had this beer at applebees with cocoa on the glass rim. very nice amber ale, not much head but the chocolate was a nice note. a little thin but warm.

Comes out of the tap an opaque chocolaty brown with a nice light tan head. Aroma is weak but appealing, with malty, chocolaty and subtle spicy tones. Rich flavor has fruity and malty tones with just a hint of caramel. Average body has some decent fizz that doesn’t stick around too long. Overall, not great, but worth a try.

Nose is mildy spicy, hints of candy syrup, taste is cloying and grainy. Pretty bad.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is flat malty and mild hops fruity. Dry malty, caramelish and lack hops alternative to none. Sweet and malty finish.

330 mL. Pours a clear, dark brown with a decent off-white head that settles down. Aromas of copper, roasted malt, fresh grass, and some soy sauce. Not a good combo. Taste is metallic and watery with an astringent/acidic finish. Very poor.

A good full bodied beer. Not a ton of flavor but certainly pleases the palate! Not bitter, not malty, just somewhere in between.

Bottle. Poured a small fizzy ivory head that mostly diminished, fair amount of lacing, transparent, fizzy, fast rising carbonation observed, and an orange hue. Nose was roasty malts, sweet, and lightly hoppy. Flavor was sweet, malty, sticky, gummy, and dry. Mouthfeel, was smooth, gummy, sticky, thin, and dry. Light in body. Nah, nothing special going on with this beer for sure. Not as tasty as their regular Blue Moon.

Pours a medium brown, with a slight head. Not a very special winter beer. I wouldn’t buy this one again.
