(Sample Date: 9/8/2010 Source:Other) Growler shared by Sean at JRHB meeting. Resiny grassy hop nose. Mostly clear medium golden with small white head. Garassy floral hop flavor with moderate fruitiness. Dry fairly bitter finish.

Served on draft at the brewery. 9/1/10. 400th Virginia rating. Hooray! Pours a clear copper color with a medium sized white frothy head. Fairly faint aroma of herbal hops. The taste is intense herbal hop notes, fairly strong melon and a hint of citrus. Pale malts. Lingering hop burn. Medium bodied. Nice beer.

Growler courtesy of Sean on 09/08/2010. Clear golden body with a medium creamy white head. Sweet floral hop aroma with light pale malt notes. Very nice floral and light citrus hop flavor on a light pale malt background. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Very happy to get to try this, from a growler brought to the JRHB meeting. Totally missed who brought it, but huge thanks! Aroma was slightly sweet caramel accented malt, with a grassy and slightly piney hop aroma. Flavor was a match, grassier perhaps than what you would normally expect, but that was probably a byproduct of the beer being brewed very shortly after the harvest. Faint grapefruit on finish. A very solid APA!
