3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Courtesy of Strykzone. Pours a metallic gold with an off white head that hung in there well and left good lacing. Nose of caramel malts and some floral hops. Body light to medium and palate is clean and crisp. The flavor is well balanced between the malts and hops. Well made lager can be very nice to drink. This is a nice one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle I picked up at the brewpub. It pours a copper gold with a decent off white head that never completely fades. A nice nose of fruit and grain with a hint of spice. The flavor also offers grain and that light spice. It is fairly well hopped and they compliment the soft clean malt. Some yeast and cereal. This was a nice lager.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from bottle. Aroma of dry malt, fruit and gas. Golden color with thin white head. Malt, yeast and hops in flavor. Dry with the right amount of carbonation. A refreshing lager on this hot summer day.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very good lager, however - it left a bit of a bitter tang. I added a lemon and it was awesome!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very thin, fast-dying white head and a few bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of light malt, metal, apples and a touch of hay and grass. Light-bodied; Mild malty flavour with some subdued hoppiness, a touch of a herbal and grassy note with a good mellow, yet somewhat complex finish. Aftertaste is very nice - no harsh flavours, no off-tastes, just a smooth maltiness, a good hop bitterness and a dry earthy and herbal characteristic. Overall, a good lager for sure and worth trying to find for the summer and for those ’lighter’ occasions. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from the Opera House Gourmet in Manassas, Virginia on 12-March-2011 with a best by date of 04/2011, sampled at home in Washington on 26-April-2011.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a rich golden with a frothy white head. The nose is loaded with noble spice and grass notes. Taste is mostly grains and a gentle bready sweetness and a good walloping hop bite. Medium bodied and a long dry finish. One of the best lagers in Virginia.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured into a pint glass.
4.0 A: Pours a clear golden yellow color. Two fingers of frothy head. The first finger dies very quickly, but the last one has decent retention. Just a touch of spotty lacing.
4.0 S: Earthy spiciness and grassy hops. Somewhat sweet neutral malt aroma. Not bad.
3.0 T: Soft bitterness. Grassy and earthy hops again. There’s definitely some corny DMS going on here.
3.5 M: Light body. Carbonation is a little higher than I’d prefer. Would be smooth, but has corny aftertaste.
3.0 D: Not terrible, but definitely much better lawnmower beers out there.
