COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This liquid is the alpha and the omega; you need nothing else. Our flagship imperial stout has been aged in charred American oak bourbon barrels with African cacao nibs and locally roasted coffee. Dark, bitter cocoa blends with sweet malt; robust coffee mellows in the presence of oak-imparted vanilla and bourbon flavors. Enjoy this one at the end of a fine meal with good friends.

Aromat: wyraźne akcenty beczkowe - wanilia, kokos i lekka kwaskowość. Następnie czekolada, kawa i alkoholowość. Wszystko jednak spójne i przyjemne. Do ideału zabrakło niewiele.

Wygląd: czarna , nieprzejrzysta barwa. Jasno brązowa piana, drobno pęcherzykowa, obfita i trwała. Ładnie oblepia szkło.

Smak: słodko- kwaskowa podstawa i ponownie beczka - owoce, wanilia, kokos. Po chwili wyczuwalna staje się kawa, a na końcu (raczej słabo) czekolada czy kakao. Goryczka powyżej średniej, jednak z uwagi na wysoki ekstrakt i słodowość wydaje się dosyć łagodna. Tęga pełnia, niskie do umiarkowanego wysycenie i kwaskowo- alkoholowo- beczkowa końcówka. Gęsta i oleista konsystencja. Jedno z lepszych piw, jakie miałem ostatnio okazję próbować. Do długiego sączenia, bowiem trudno się z nim rozstać.

75cl bottle, shared with friends. Pours black with medium beige rocky head. Aromas of smoke and sweet malts, curious. Tastes is chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, and hints of bourbon (not overwhelmingly present). Nice warmness on the palate. Full body, good carbonation. A good Bourbon IS with no cloying sweetness, which is important considering what happens sometimes when the bourbon is too present.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, vanilla, bourbon, bit sourish, quite some coffee, mocha, caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: alcohol, caramel, lots of dark chocolate, mocha, coffee, vanilla. Aftertaste: pretty hoppy bitterness, alcohol, mocha, coffee, cocoa powder, bit sugary.
