Sampled from the tap at the Hop Shop. Pours a clear water with a bubbly white head that dissipates quickly and nearly completely. Aroma has a rich earthy apple with a bit of acid and dryness. Flavor has a nice rich apple that has a slight bitterness and a hint of dryness.

Tasting at Matt’s; 6.7% ABV; bottled Dec 2013, 1.5 years old
Pale color, clear. Nice aroma of sour apples, fresh, citrusy too. Dry mouthfeel, quite sour, a bit astringent, with not much flavor, woody and more astringent final; sour like a Spanish cider but not the same depth.
Nice aroma, flavor in line with US standards (less interesting).

2013 vintage. 650mL bottle, pours a clear pale blonde. Nose brings out medium sweet apples and light crispness. Flavour is quite tangy, with medium acidity and light-to-medium sweet apples. Very tangy and nicely acidic. Very pleasant.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2015 Bottle from Central Market. 10/23/14. Very light pour, clear with almost head but decent effervescence. Apples and dry white wine on the nose. Flavor teases with a hint of sweetness early but it’s super dry from there on out, some apple skins, a bit sour/acidic, again like a dry white wine without the oak that usually accompanies such. OK but not something I’m eager to repeat. 6/3/5/3/13

Revisit 6/20/15Draft at Fiddlers Inn. This time around I sort of enjoy the dry intense white wine character. It’s pretty tasty and I think I was a bit harsh the first time around.7/3/7/3/13=3.3. I’ll bump up slightly.

(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) clear bright gold, good lacing on the glass. Nose is subdued, lightly tart, apple skin. Taste is quite tart, nice varietal of apples, like the taste, but not sure how to describe it beyond that.
