12 oz bottle. Pours a bronze/orangish color with off white head. Aroma is light pine, citrus and toffee. Flavor is citrus with pince and nicely balanced by the malts. Medium to refreshingly light bitterness. Nice Pale Ale.

Originally reviewed: 10/13/10. Another great bottle received from CrellMoset recently (BA). Thanks! Iím really enjoying this brewery. 12oz bottle poured into a conical pint. Dark amber/orange hues capped off by a small creamy beige head. Fair retention; lots of sticky lace left in the wake. Iím getting a sharp smack of pine in the nose right away. Nice! Either Iím getting used to it, or it fades nicely into an earthy floral scent. I like the smell of this one. The body is par for the style. Moderate carbonation. Not too light, but not overly filling. Good beer for lunch. This is definitely on the more bitter side of APAs. IBUs clock in at 60. I think the hops are blended very well with a touch of sweet caramel malts. Balance leans ever-so-slightly in the bitter hops favor, but thatís not a bad thing. I like the bitter side of this beer. Well done, Blue Mountain! And thanks again, Chris!

Always fresh (at least when I get it, always on tap somewhere within an hour of the brewery). Pours a light amber, feels crisp on the palate with a slight citrus back.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Light citric hoppy aroma, with some sweet malty notes. The flavor is well balanced, with floral and citric hops, and lightly sweet malts. Good stuff.

Bottle/12oz - Fresh from VA, via my Dad... Thanks! Pours a orange-amber in color with a medium white head. Aroma is medium hoppy... floral and just a bit of citrus. Flavor is also medium hoppy with a bit more of the citrus/grapefruit coming through. A bit watery. Some bready malts as a balance. Lingering bitterness. Above average APA...

12 oz. can that I bought in Virginia. A nice lighter tan head sits atop the coppery beer that has a bit of haze. The foam lasted a minute or so. The aroma is light but I found caramel and tangerines. The first sip brings out bitter citrus fruit that is fairly big. Sulfur and caramel. The fruit increases with warmth but the bitterness fades only a little. This was nice.

From a 12 oz can courtesy of Strykzone. Poured a clear amber color with a nice white head. Nose of lightly roasted caramel mats with floral hops and some fruitiness. Medium body with smooth creamy carbonation. Flavor is lightly roasted malts with floral and fruit hops. There is a good bitterness in the flavor and it finishes bitter. Quite a nice APA.
