Draft at Green Leafe Newtown. Pours cloudy dark straw with nose of hopcitrus, caramel malt. Tastes hoppy, spicy, caramel malty, with finishing pepper and yesty notes. I love seeing unfiltered IPAs, and this one was complex and truly enjoyable from beginning to end, enough so that it made it through my sampling round to get its own pint. Well done.

A delicious pale ale. Brewed just a few miles away meant that I had to try it. Amber in color, full of fresh citrus aroma and hoppy after taste. A nice beer to enjoy on a Spring evening.

Pint at the brewery. This is a crystalline gold hue with a white head. Hops are certainly in the aroma, but not overwhelming. It has a slightly metallic character, but most emphasis is placed on citrus and grass notes. Itís a fairly bitter beer and grassy with hints at dough. Finish is dry. While this is definitely hoppy, it could use even more hop definition. This is a reasonable pale ale.

12oz bottle courtesy of kinz. Good pine and citrus vine aroma. Darker copper body with off white creamy head. Medium lacing on the pint glass. Started out with some good citrus but that mellows out and has a somewhat dry bitter finish. Refreshing beer after work.

Pours nice and coppery with some decent carbonation. Smell is a bit bittery, but the taste doesnít follow down that path. Itís definitely hop forward but not crazy by any means, actually quite tasty with some citrus and maybe piney? Good no less.

12 oz bottle. Pours a mostly clear amber and a thin lasting head. Aroma is citrusy a bit lemon and light crackery malts- light doughy as well. Dry toasty malt flavor with more citrus light mint and pine throughout and a dry sharp bitterness in the end. Hops arent that big in here but it works ok. Decent IPA.

Bottle shared by beerbill. Amber beer. Light caramel and toast. A fairly nice grapefruity fresh hoppiness. Light apricot and peach. Soft fruit and a bit of light resiny hoppiness. Pretty nice simple pale ale.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with dkachur. Pours a hazy dark gold with a moderate-large off-white head that lasted until the bottom of the glass and left a layer of foam with each sip. Pleasant aroma of malt, grapefruit and pine. There is a very, very weak malt backbone, but that is immediately overrun by grapefruit. The grapefruit flavor is short-lived, leaving behind bitter, virtually flavorless pith, which continues through the swallow. Dry and bitter at the finish. Medium bodied.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a bronze color. Aroma is light pine, citrus, caramel. Flavor is pines, citrus, solid IPA flavor. IBUs are perfect. Finishes very clean and is quite a refreshing beverage.
