Deep copper with a white, two-finger head. Excellent lacing. Pine and citrus aromas. Solid melted caramel malt aroma too. Hops aren’t huge in the smell. Nicely sweet with a bitter twang. Hops are evenly balanced with sweet malts. Hops have pine and juicy grapefruit. Subtle hops but they provide a very juicy mix with the malts. Aftertaste is dry from the malts not the hops.

12 oz can served in a snifter. Dark, clear amber -- a bit darker than average for style -- with a near creamy bone colored head that has moderate retention and very good lacing. More flavorful, including a tad more hoppy, than average, with a nice mix of fruity/herbal/grassy hops.

Pours a clear amber with a highly foamy off-white head. Smells of dark breads, flowers, citrus, hint of spruce. Taste is sweet and bitter - bready malt, peppery hops, grassy, hint of earthiness.

12oz can. Looks amber. Aroma of citrusy and piney hops, some light malts and dough. Flavor the same, with a good amount of hops for a pale ale. Average texture. Not a bad beer.

12oz can pours a clear, amber with some thin, lacing white head. Nose is nice, resinous, orange, grapefruit, pine, honey. Flavor is the same, cracker, biscuit, orange peel, dried lemon, some malt, slightly floral, lit one. Medium, dry, bitter finish. Very drinkable.

12oz can. Pours a clear orange-amber color with a thick fluffy off white head. Aroma is bready with a hint of citrus. Taste is a nice balance of citrusy (grapefruit) hops and slightly sweet malt.

Pours a decent light coppery hue, forming huge beige foamy head. Aroma of light malts, hops and field flowers. Drinkable, some flavour but not much character. Would love to try draught/tap version. Not bad....

Light copper color with a big and foamy head. Malty, nutty, slightly sweet. Smooth finish. Lacking punch and hops in the finish.

Can. Clear, gold beer with a decent white head. Strong hop aroma, sharp bitterness, body is a little light.

Pours a soft peachy amber with one finger of off white head. Nose is interesting, very heavy caramel component here. Caramel malt and fruit in the nose, kind of muddled. Very hard to describe the individual flavors/aromas here. Tad bit too much bitterness and way too much caramel malt.

Can in NYC. Pours clear, rich gold with a huge, off-white cream head. Sugary, bredy and lightly toasted malts on the nose, with notes of fading pine. It tastes alright, medium sweet with bready malts, suggestions of caramel, a bit of dry grass and pine, mellow earth. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet and faintly resinous to finish, with nips of caramel, toasted bread and piney, herbal bitterness. Not bad.
