BBD 5/15. Pours a hazy medium amber (copper). Outstanding head volume, world class lacing and retention. Quite nice nose of citrus hops with a subtle pine hop background over a subtle caramel. Almost light medium body with a texture that is somewhat smooth. Superbly carbonated with a nice effervescence from the middle on. The outstanding flavor profile is intense, a bit complex and very well balanced. It begins with cascade hops (a blended citrus and pine flavor with a hint of spice). In the middle a balancing sweetness emerges against a mild bitterness with a slant towards grapefruit. The finish is a lingering rind like mild bitterness.

12oz can. Pours a medium amber with an off white medium head. Citrus and pine hops aroma with some caramel malt. Taste is of citrus and pine hops and some caramel malt. Palate is a medium body, crisp mouth feel with good carbonation. Finish is citrus pine and some herbal hops that linger a bit with some caramel malt for balance. Final thoughts a good drinking brew.

Jarastlad (45) - Arlon, BELGIUM - MAR 26, 2015
12 FL. OZ. bottle from Miorge-Mihoublon, Arlon, Belgium. Aroma is not as powerful as I thought it’d be but focuses on citrus, lemongrass. It pours a nice copper color with little carbonation and no head. Taste is a classical IPA with some citrus notes, lemongrass and some pine resins. Bitterness is long and linfering. Finish is quite dry

Idiosynkrasie (4640) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 19, 2015
355ml bottle. Barely clear amber colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautious, piney, hoppy aroma, biscuit malty background, even more cautious citrusy hints of lemon and sweaty resin. Taste is slightly sweet biscuity malty, a touch of caramel and peanut, dry, piney hoppy overtones; long lasting finish, smooth, soft, silky, mouth-filling palate. Very nice composition, but sadly a bit anaemic concerning the aromatic profile.
