hershiser2 (1006) - Charlottesville, USA - OCT 25, 2010
On tap at the brewery 10/24/10. Pours a brown with not much of a head. Smells of unspiced pumpkin, greens, and malt. Flavor is a funky malt, some bitter vegetable material (I’d assume pumpkin), and that’s about it. Not a great pumpkin ale.

On tap at Mekong on 11/07/2010. Clear amber body with a small off-white head. Sweet pumpkin, caramel and spice aroma. Sweet spice flavor with pumpkin and caramel. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

(Sample Date: 10/25/2010 Source:Dkachur) Reserved apple pie spices in the aroma with caramel and dark sugar. Clear dark amber golden with small white head. Flavor is lightly spicy and clean with caramel sweetness. Medium body and mouth feel. Finish is clean dry and lightly spicy. Very solid.

Drake (5231) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - OCT 28, 2010
Growler from the brewery, filled 10/16/10 and opened 10/19/10. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a medium brown head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of pumpkin, dry malty notes and a faint cinnamon spice. The taste is caramel, toasted malts, pumpkin and a cinnamon spice finish. Medium bodied. Decent beer.

From a growler thaks to Dave. Aroma-some subtle malt and pumpkin but overall a clean aroma. Appearance- Clear orange amber with a generous long lasting head. Taste-Subtle pumpkin flavor that is not over powering like too many pumpkin ale but just enough to give it character. Clean bitter finish. Overall a nice pumpkin ale that I could easily drink more than one of, unlike others in this style.
