Cola brown pour with a Beige head. Aroma is tart, toasty, a bit of wood on the nose, earthy. Flavor is roast, sligh acidity. Sweet too. Interestingly balanced. Pretty good.

750ml bottle (Issue #1) in a teku. Pours black with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, some light sourness/funkiness, oak and vanilla, some light chocolate, and some dough/bread. Flavor the same with a nice blend of the stout and the sourness and the barrel. Average texture with a good amount of carbonation. A pretty cool and interesting beer.

Somewhat sour is. Aged for a couple years. Very lacy. Attractive aroma.sweetish mildly sour.

Pours an opaque dark brown to black, with two fingers of fluffy choco head on top. Rich chocolate- and caramel-scented malt aroma. A pleasant yoghurty berry-like fruitiness blends well in. Also some fine bourbon notes and hint of wood. Full body. Smooth and juicy on the palate. Big malt base. Mild roast, choco and caramel. Also a prominent lactic acidity, featuring red berries, raisins and cherries. Faint bourbon tones. Very comlex and very tasty. Imperial Stout meets Oud bruin! [ Corked and wired 1pint 9.4. fl.oz. Very dark brown, brown head. Nose is blue cheese, apple seed. Flavour is like a dark grape seed. Very distinctive. Absolutely loved it.

Dark brown color. Nice mix of chocolate and sourness, some old wood, light wine. Good chocolate flavor, medium sweet, with mild sourness.

Bottle - Sour dark malts with some lacto. Jet black with a brown head. Funky, sour dark malts, oak and a dry finish. Very odd, but interesting.

Bottle shared at The Bruery - thanks to Andrew! Pours clear brown with a creamy, tan head. Lots of raisins here, cake, lightly oxidised character, dark bread, some wood. Medium to full in body with fine average carbonation. Lightly warming to finish with ripe and dark berries, toffee, some tangy fruits. Not bad.

From the 12/2013 3R6P gathering +++ Sampled from a 750 ml corked brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a large foamy beige head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was bourbon, coconut and vanilla. The flavor was tart, sour and lactic with notes of dark fruits, red wine, coconut, chocolate and vanilla. Long tar t and sour finish with lingering red wine and coconut. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.

Bottle from Chris a few months back, shared @ The Bruery. Brown pour with a khaki head. Aroma is really...off. Nuts, green apple, balsamic vinegar, and olives. Coffee, wood, roast, and chocolate. Some caramel sweetness on the palate. Lots of nuts, balsamic vinegar, and olives. Old chocolate, green apple, cardboard, roast, and lots of wood. Really fizzy and carbonic.
