4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Nice murky orange amber color when poured. Very full flavor without tasting too "thick". Dark chocolate undertones are a nice aftertaste. Wife liked it.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled from a 750 ml corked brown bottle this beer poured a murky orange-brown color with a huge very creamy orange-cream head that lingered forever and left great lacing. The aroma was faint with sweet orange . The flavor was sweet and malty with moderate ripe fruits, chocolate and bourbon. Long finish of creamy chocolate and bourbon. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Alcohol well hidden. Very nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Pours opaque orange-medium brown with a thin white head. Tastes sweet at first, then strongly of alcohol. Like fruit candy with dry tobacco and squash. Medium body and low carbonation. Not much aroma, smells lightly of bread, vegetables, and caramel.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Keg @ Sedona. Medium orange amber with a tiny head. The nose is banana bread, toffee. Mild vanilla and cinnamon. Quite a sweet aroma. The taste is pretty woody. Hot vanilla, burnt pear. Toffee. Dry erase marker. Heavy handed, boozy, sweet. Overall, not a favorite.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle into a goblet. Pours a nice orange/amber, fluffy white head and light lacing. Very pleasant vanilla aroma with hints of spice and fresh pumpkin. Taste is creamy vanilla, spice, pumpkin, slight booze burn, a bit of oak. Incredibly smooth and drinkable. Not a pumpkin pie bomb by any means. Such a refreshing change of pace for fall seasonal beers.

Bottle courtesy of Dave & Michelle, thanks! Cloudy golden amber color, large fluffy white head, solid lacing. Aroma of salted pretzels, I am not kidding. Taste starts with light vanilla, spice, slight booze at the finish. Tasty.

Poured a very hazy orange-brown color with a nice white head. Aroma has pumpkin, berries, spices, and some cheese. Taste is slightly creamy and smooth. Light carbonation. Good pumpkin flavors with a good amount of spices. Lots of cheesy notes, with some veggies. Nice cocoa flavors in the finish. Aftertaste is more veggies and pumpkin. Overall very refreshing.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Big thanks to my good friend Steve Klenk for this one, and what a gorgeous bottle this is, with an embossed ghost behind orange letters and pumpkin. Pours turbid pumpkin colored with off-white head. Nose is bready caramel malt, bourbon, pumpkin puree, cacao. Tastes of bourbon, pumpkin, big hops, cacao, vanilla. Rich, smooth, and complex palate, with bourbon up front, the pumpkin as a solid secondary taste, and finishing vanilla, cacao, and squash. This is as unique a pumpkin beer as I have ever quaffed, and I’m damned glad to have a friend like Steve to share it with me. Take a small bite of pumpkin pie, add a Hershey’s Kiss, then without swallowing take a big hit of Cognac, and you have this beer, and it tastes great.
